How to change mac id | Friends Company | M.A.Rehaman

Every NIC (Network Interface Card) has a unique MAC address (Media Access Control). This applies to all types of network cards, including Ethernet cards and WiFi cards. The MAC Address is a six-byte number or 12-digit hexadecimal number that is used to uniquely identify a host on a network. An example of a MAC address is 1F-2E-3D-4C-5B-6A and it falls into the Layer 2 networking protocol of the OSI model. In today’s networks, ARP, or Address Resolution Protocol converts a MAC address to a Layer 3 protocol address, such as an IP address. A MAC address can also be called a Physical Address. Read my post on how to find your MAC address if you don’t know it. All MAC addresses are hard-coded into a network card and can never be changed. However, you can change or spoof the MAC address in the operating system itself using a few simple tricks. So why would you want to change your MAC address? Well there are many reasons for this, mostly related to bypassing some kind of MAC address filter set on a modem, router or firewall. Changing the MAC Address can help you bypass certain network restrictions by emulating an unrestricted MAC Address or by spoofing a MAC address that is already authorized. For example, a WiFi network may allow only authorized computers to connect to the network and filters out computers based on the MAC address. If you can sniff out a legitimate MAC address, you can then spoof your MAC address and gain access to the WiFi network. Another example is if you have an ISP that allows only a certain number of computers to connect to the Internet from your home. If you have more computers that need to connect, you can spoof the MAC address of an authorized computer and connect from a different computer. Change Windows MAC Address You can change the MAC address for the network card in Windows pretty easily following the steps below. Step 1: Click on Start, then Control Panel, then Network Connections, and right-click on the network connection you want to change the MAC address for and select Properties. It will normally either be Local Area Connection or Wireless Network Connection. If you are using Windows Vista, Windows 7 or higher, you have to go to Control Panel, then Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center, and then click on Manage Network Connections or Change adapter settings. Then you can right-click on the adapter and choose Properties. Step 2: On the General or Networking tab, click the Configure button. Step 3: Now click on the Advanced tab and click on the Locally Administered Address property or the Network Address property. By default, the Not Present value is selected. Go ahead and click on the Value radio button and enter in a new MAC address. The MAC address is a combination of 6 pairs of numbers and characters, i.e. 40-A2-D9-82-9F-F2. You should enter the MAC address without the dashes. You can go to the command prompt and type in IPCONFIG /ALL to check that the MAC address has been changed. Go ahead and restart the computer in order for the changes to take effect. This is the simplest way to change your MAC address in Windows. You can also do so via the registry, but it’s much more technical and probably not required by most people. Today we take a look at enabling the check boxes feature which might be easier for some users to select multiple items. I’m sure you’re familiar with selecting multiple files in Explorer by holding down the “Shift” or “Ctrl” key while selecting them with your mouse. Holding down the “Ctrl” key allows you to select multiple single items. Holding down “Shift” lets you select a series of multiple files or folders. Enable Check Boxes To enable check boxes, click on Start and and type Folder Options into the search box and hit Enter. In the Folder Options window click on the View tab, and scroll down under Advanced Settings and check the box next to Use check boxes to select items, the click Apply and Ok. Now you’ll notice a small check box shows up on next to the item you want to select. With this enabled you don’t need to hold any key on the keyboard, just click to place a checkmark in the box. Also notice there is a box under the menu bar that will select all items. And on the desktop you can check icons, folders, and files that you want to move to another location. The check box feature is also available in Vista following the same procedure…enabling them in Folder Options. This is a neat setting that lets you select multiple items using the mouse without worrying about holding down the correct key on the keyboard. It will work with any view in Explorer but seems to work best with Detailed View Keywords:- how to create active checkboxes in word how to insert active checkbox in word document how to make checkboxes active in word insert active checkbox in word 2010 how to use activex checkbox how to insert active checkbox in word document how to make an active checkbox in word insert active checkbox in word 2010 how to use activex checkbox how to make an active checkbox in word insert active checkbox in word 2010 how to create an active checkbox in word how to create an active checkbox in word how to insert active checkbox in word document active checkbox in excel how to active check box html how to make an active checkbox in word how to create an active checkbox in word insert active checkbox in word 2010 active checkbox in word 2007 active checkbox in word active checkbox in word 2010 active checkbox in excel how to active check box keyboard how to active check box list how to make an active checkbox in word how to active check box numbers how to active check box name how to active check box office how to use activex checkbox how to insert active checkbox in word document how to make an active checkbox in word insert active checkbox in word 2010 how to use activex checkbox how to active check box yes how to active check box yii insert active checkbox in word 2010 how to insert active checkbox in word document how to make an active checkbox in word insert active checkbox in word 2010 how to use activex checkbox

How To Turn Off Chat On Facebook | Friends Company | Maher Faizan

Facebook's messaging system can sometimes be more distracting than useful. The ability for everyone you have as a friend to contact you in a real-time chat can eat a large chunk of your time each day (depending on the number of friends, of course). Instead of allowing everyone to talk to you at their whim, why not just enable chat for the people you would actually want to have real-time conversations with? Luckily Facebook has options to turn off chat for everyone except those you select, or simply turn it off for people who contact you too often. Here's how to set it up: Step 1: Open your Facebook account in a Web browser. It's easiest to do it from your computer, but you can also load the desktop version of the site from a mobile device. Open the chat area at the bottom-right corner of the page, then click the Settings cog and select Advanced Settings. Step 3: Choose the type of chat status you want to use and fill in the names of the people. This is quick and easy; just start typing a name and Facebook will autocomplete it for you. Now you can enjoy a little extra peace when your Facebook tab is open. What do you think of these options? Share them with us in the comments. How to Make a Green Screen Green chroma key The green screen effect is a type of chroma key. The idea is to create a pure green background which is then replaced with whatever background image you want. This tutorial shows you how to set up a green screen (cheaply if necessary) and how to use it in your video productions. The tutorial includes: Planning the studio setting Green screen material Lighting the green screen Incorporating green screen footage into your videos More Tips There are numerous variations on the standard green screen technique and you will need to develop your own system based on the resources you have available. Whatever you do, remember the two most important considerations: The colour and lighting of the green screen needs to be as even as possible. You can't have anything in the foreground (i.e. part of the the subjects) which is the same colour as the green screen. Before you begin any construction, it's a good idea to plan your studio layout and green screen size. There is nothing worse than building a green screen which ends up being not quite wide enough. Set up your proposed studio area and camera(s). Go through every type of shot you could possibly want and measure the total required background area. Allow enough room to change your mind about framing or widen the shot more than you originally thought. Also, allow extra space to the sides of the screen to place lights. Ideally there should be some space between the foreground subjects and the green screen — this makes lighting easier. Plan your budget. Green Screen Material:- There is some debate over which materials are acceptable for use as a green screen. Many professionals will tell you that the colour must be just the right shade of green, or that the screen must be made of certain material. It is certainly true that some materials and colours are better, but in reality you can make an effective green screen from just about any smooth, green surface. If you really want the best possible screen you should do an Internet search for green screen material. There are numerous websites which sell specialist material and with a little research you can find something to suit your studio. Be aware that professional green screen material can be quite expensive. In the more likely event that you would like a cheap option to get started with, you will be glad to hear that it's not hard finding useable material. There are three main options: Use a solid material such as cardboard or wood, painted green. Use flexible or spongy material such as foam, spandex, etc. If you're going this way, you are probably better off to buy professional material. Use some sort of fabric. You can either buy green material or buy white material and paint/dye it green. Fabric Go to a good fabric store and look through the selection — you should be able to find at least several choices. The material should not be too reflective — this tends to create lighter "hotspots". Lighter, brighter green is better than dark green. Material which is crease-resistant is very desirable. Wrinkles are the enemy and you will appreciate material which can be set up and moved without destroying the smoothness. Heavy material is good for providing consistent colour, especially if there is any possibility of anything behind the screen showing through. However it can be prone to more creasing. If you need to pack up the material for storage or moving, roll it rather than fold it — this helps reduce wrinkling. It's a good idea to use a cylindrical object with a diameter of at least 5-10cm (2-4") to roll the material onto, for example, the heavy cardboard cylinders used as the centre of newsprint rolls. You may want to iron your material from time to time to keep wrinkles away. If you are going to paint or dye the material, make sure you will be able to iron it. Note than ironing a piece of material this large without creating new creases can be a challenge. Hang the material in whatever manner suits your situation. For example, you could use thumbtacks or a shower rail attached to the wall. To make a mobile screen, use two stands (such as light stands or mic stands) and mount a rail between them. You could also make stands from clothing racks, hat stands, or any similar type of frame. Solid Material Cardboard or wood has the advantage of providing a nice consistent surface, free of wrinkles. The disadvantage is that it's more difficult to pack up and move. Although you can use any light, bright green paint, it is better to use a tint designed for green screens. Do a search for "chroma key paint" to see some options.

This is a security measure designed to avoid situations such as a user on a public computer forgetting to log out and somebody else being able to retrieve the password. If you can't remember your password but can still log in, it is because your browser has stored the password. Depending on the browser you're using, you can sometimes retrieve passwords such as those for Facebook. Facebook Options If you do not know your Facebook password, you can't recover it from Facebook itself. You also cannot change your password, since you must retype your existing password to change it. Your only option with Facebook itself is to log out, then click on the "Forgot your password? option" on the login page. This will allow you to reset the password through an email link; you can then log back in and change your password. Google Chrome The Chrome browser offers to store passwords so that you don't have to type them in every time. To retrieve a password stored this way, type "chrome://settings/passwords" into the address bar and press "Enter." You'll then see a list of saved passwords. Find the entry for Facebook (you can use the search box at the top of the list if you have a lot of passwords), click on the string of dots, then click "Show" to see the stored password. Mozilla Firefox Firefox also lets you store passwords. To retrieve a password, click the "Firefox" button and select "Option," then select "Security Panel," then click on "Saved Passwords." You'll see a list of sites for which you have saved a password. Click on "Show Passwords" to see the saved passwords. Microsoft Internet Explorer Internet Explorer itself does not allow you to view stored passwords. If you are using Windows 7 or earlier, you cannot view your saved Facebook password and will need to reset it if you have forgotten it and want to log in to your account on another computer. If you are using Windows 8, the system's Credential Manager feature lets you view stored passwords. To do so, open the Control Panel and open Credential Manager, then click on "Web Credentials." You'll see a list of sites for which a password has been stored and can click on "Show" next to the string of dots to reveal the password. You will be asked to retype your Windows login details before the password is revealed.

Directly above your messages, you should see a sentence similar to this: "All 20 conversations on this page are selected. Select all conversations that match this search." Use the “Select all conversations” link to select the rest of the messages if you’d like to delete all the messages at once rather than one page at a time. If you’re confident you won’t need these messages in the future, click the Trash icon Delete. Permanently delete messages manually If you want to permanently delete a message right away, you can do it manually. Go to Trash (see directions above). To delete messages individually, open or select the message and click the Delete forever. To delete all messages in Trash at once, click the Empty Trash now link directly above the messages. Check Confirm before deleting, Confirm before archiving, or both. Find deleted messages In the Gmail app, touch the menu Menu. Select Trash. Move messages out of Trash so they won’t be deleted In the Gmail app, touch the menu Menu. Select Trash. Select or open a message. Touch the "Move to" icon Move to icon. Choose a label. What is Google+? Google+ is literally Google with a plus. The "+" is the social networking it adds to all of Google's other services, including Gmail, YouTube, and Blogger. Google+ brings popular social-media features like comments, photo- and music-sharing, videochat, etc. to your social circles. It's basically what any user chooses it to be, from an ongoing conversation to a platform of self-expression, with tools for making it as individual or collective as you want. How to use Google+ (Google plus) - What is Google+ Tutorial Signing up for Google + When you first visit Google+, you see a link that invites you to "sign in with your Google Account." If you already have a Gmail address you're all set. If not, click on "Create an account." You'll then be asked to answer a few simple questions such as your real name, a username, a password and your birthday (as we said earlier, to get an account, you must be at least 13 years old and if a child isn't old enough, they won't be allowed to use the service). You will also be given an opportunity to add a profile picture and then you'll be whisked directly into Google+. The service may also ask you to "find people you know on Google+" by entering an email address from Yahoo or Hotmail. This is optional. Google+ won't contact the people in your contact list, but will import contacts from those services and give you the option of adding them to your circles. Once you have an account, the first time you visit Google+ you'll be asked several questions including school or work name and where you live. These are designed to make it easier for friends, family and others to find you, but they are optional. Researchers have found that entering school or city name or posting a photo. Of course, there may be reputation issues. The photo should be suitable for sharing with the public and, if for any reason, you don't want to share your photo, school name or city, you have that option. Your profile Your profile is where you see and can edit information about yourself as well as anything you've posted. You can get to your profile by clicking on your picture (or the default icon if you haven't posted a picture). At this point, you have the option to add to or edit your profile by clicking the blue Edit Profile link. To add to or change your profile, you click on the section you with to edit. For example you can type in a brief description about yourself or click on the About link, where you can add or change information about your occupation, education, where you've lived and even "how people reach you at home" (your phone number). There are also places where you can say if you're in a relationship, "who you are looking for" and more. For each of these questions, you have the option to leave it blank or not, and you get to decide who gets to see that information. It can be only you, "Your Circles", your extended circles (which includes circles of people in your circles) or anyone on the web. You can also choose Custom which allows you to specify only certain people. How to use Google+ (Google plus) - What is Google+ Tutorial Your Circles Google has introduced the concept of "circles," as in social circles, to connect with people and make it easier for you to control who see what you post and help you home in on posts from people you want to hear from. Think about the people in your life. Adults have work colleagues and people they went to school with. Kids have classmates or teammates. Everyone has family, and just about everyone has a group of close friends and acquaintances that are not-so-close. These people are part of our lives, but we don't necessarily share the same things with all of them. Circles makes is easy to share different content with different people. You can have as many circles as you want and they can overlap. A student could, for example, have a circle of everyone she knows at school but also a circle of everyone working on a project for English class, one for everyone on the basketball team and a separate circle for family. You could even have a circle for people you've never met but who share a passion, such as a particular cause or political candidate, and not have to worry about sharing personal information with folks you don't know offline.

Even as a young network of three years that has grown faster than many of the current leaders, Google+ has been disparaged and shunned by much of the public for the moves Google has made with it. Google+ has long required users to use their real name as their screen name, a move which was made even more unpopular when Google announced that YouTube comments would take place through Google+. That requirement is now gone, much to the delight of SamsungKnight1134. Recently, the departure of the public face of Google+, Vic Gundotra, led many to call the network dead. These naysayers claim Google+ doesn't work, it doesn't make sense, and that it's a ghost town. I'm here to tell you that they're wrong. It is alive, it absolutely works, and you should almost definitely use it. How do I know? Google+ has been my primary blogging platform since the beginning, and my primary social platform for over a year. Every week I'd meet a few more people who liked my writing and wanted to talk tech. I'd share my posts in any community I dared in the hopes that more established writers could help guide my writing, shape it for the better. With a timely post on rooting, I managed to catch the eye of some very established writers, and they decided to take a chance on me here at Android Central. So to me, Google+ is a little more than just a social network, and I'd like to help share its bounty with you. Google+ is the company's fourth foray into social networking, following Google Buzz (launched 2010, retired in 2011), Google Friend Connect (launched 2008, retired by March 1, 2012), and Orkut (launched in 2004, as of 2013 operated entirely by subsidiary Google Brazil – retired in September 2014[4]). Google+ launched in June 2011. Features included the ability to post photos and status updates to the stream or interest based communities, group different types of relationships (rather than simply "friends") into Circles, a multi-person instant messaging, text and video chat called Hangouts, events, location tagging, and the ability to edit and upload photos to private cloud-based albums.[5][6] Growth, engagement[edit] Assessments of Google+ growth have varied widely because Google first defined the service as a social network,[5] then later as "a social layer across all of Google's services", allowing them to share a user's identity and interests.[7] According to Ars Technica, Google+ signups were "often just an incidental byproduct of signing up for other Google services."[8][9][10] Consequently, the reported number of active users on Google+ grew significantly, but the average time those users spent on the site was a small fraction of that on comparable social media services. In 2011 Google+ reached 10 million users just two weeks after the launch.[11] In a month, it reached 25 million.[12] In October 2011, the service reached 40 million users, according to Larry Page.[13] Based on ComScore, the biggest market was the United States followed by India.[14] By the end of the year Google+ had 90 million users.[15] In October 2013, approximately 540 million monthly active users made use of the social layer by interacting with Google+'s enhanced properties, like Gmail, +1 button, and YouTube comments.[16] Some 300 million monthly active users participated in the social network by interacting with the Google+ social networking stream.[17][18][19] But user engagement on Google+ was low compared with its competitors. ComScore estimated that users averaged just 3.3 minutes on the site in January 2012, versus 7.5 hours for Facebook.[20][21] In March 2013, average time spent on the site remained low: roughly 7 minutes, according to Nielsen, not including traffic via apps.[22] In February 2014, The New York Times likened Google+ to a ghost town, citing Google stats of 540 million "monthly active users", but noting that almost half don't visit the site. The company replied that the significance of Google+ was less as a Facebook competitor than as a means of gathering and connecting user information from Google's various services.[23] Changes in management, product direction[edit] In April 2014, Vic Gundotra, the executive in charge of Google+, departed the company[24] with management responsibility going to David Besbris. By March 2015, Google executive Bradley Horowitz, who had co-founded Google Plus with Gundotra, had replaced Besbris, becoming vice president of streams, photos, and sharing.[25]

This is done to protect these files, which are usually system files, from accidentally being modified or deleted by the user. Unfortunately viruses, spyware, and hijackers often hide there files in this way making it hard to find them and then delete them. By following the steps below for each version of Windows you will be able to change the operating systems behavior so that you can see hidden and protected files. In this way you will be able to delete or replaces files for troubleshooting purposes. Windows XP and Windows 2003 To enable the viewing of Hidden files follow these steps: Close all programs so that you are at your desktop. Double-click on the My Computer icon. Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. After the new window appears select the View tab. Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Display the contents of system folders. Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide file extensions for known file types. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files. Press the Apply button and then the OK button and shutdown My Computer. Now your computer is configured to show all hidden files. Windows Vista To enable the viewing of Hidden files follow these steps: Close all programs so that you are at your desktop. Click on the Start button. This is the small round button with the Windows flag in the lower left corner. Click on the Control Panel menu option. When the control panel opens you can either be in Classic View or Control Panel Home view: If you are in the Classic View do the following: Double-click on the Folder Options icon. Click on the View tab. Go to step 5. If you are in the Control Panel Home view do the following: Click on the Appearance and Personalization link . Click on Show Hidden Files or Folders. Go to step 5. Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders. Wondering why your link drop and run isn’t working on Google Plus? I’ve got answers for you! Google+ is the only social media platform that provides formatting for their posts. I’m going to break down the elements of a great Google Plus post and show you what works for successful Google Plussers. Because you have unlimited space to use, Google+ posts need to have more gravitas than a tweet. On Google Plus, it’s considered link litter if you drop and link with no reason why you posted it. The bottom line is, if you are taking the time to share something, take the time to post it properly. Don’t just drop link litter, it causes people to tune out and ignore your post. It can also get you banned from communities. Think about why you want people to read it and give them a taste of the post. Build interest and create the opportunity for people to discuss your post on it’s own. What you need before you are ready to post on Google+: A great article that you’ve written or curated from one of your favorite blogs An image in 735 pixels x 1102 pixels or 735 pixels x 735 pixels Pin the image to Pinterest and grab the link This post has all the essential ingredients to a great Google Plus post! An interesting title that explains what the post is about formatted with *bold* text. (more about how to format below) +Mention the person who wrote the post or maybe some people who you’d like to involve in a conversation if you think they’d like it (don’t over-do that) A summary that talks about why you like the article or item that you’re sharing. Link to the post I like to pin all my posts to Pinterest first and add a link to pin it for later so people using their smartphones can save it on the go. You can view the Pinterest pin for this post here. It did pretty well too! Add relevant hashtags to the bottom of your post. This helps Google put it together with other content about the same thing. Formatting text within a post is easy. If you want bold text, add *asterisks* before and after the word or phrase without spaces. If you wanted italicized text, add _an underscore_ before and after without spaces. You can also load the Post Editor for Google Plus Chrome extension that makes it even easier! If you are sharing a blog post, you have a choice if you’d like to add a separate photo or let Google+ pull in the Open Graph photo from the blog post. There are pros and cons to both methods. When I add blog posts, I add a large photo because they get more sharing and engagement on Google Plus. You may get more +1’s flowing through to the blog post if you let the photo embed automatically but in my experience, overall the post does. The next decision you have to make is who to share this photo with on Google+. I post all of my posts with the public setting and don’t share to circles or extended circles. You may accidentally annoy people by sharing posts with them that they don’t want to receive. A great option is to create an opt-in notification circle for your blog content. When I post an article that I’ve written, I add some text at the bottom that says “people in my notification circle received a notification when this post was published, if you’d like to be added to this circle, please leave a comment below.” This allows interested people to ask to be in your notification circle and you can thank them in the comment to the post. Each time I post my own articles, I’ll share to public and my notification circle. Try using this method of posting articles to Google+ and I think you’ll see that your posts will receive more engagement in the form of comments, +1’s, and shares. It may take a little more time than dropping a link but if you take the time to write a great piece of content you want to make sure that it will be seen and read by others, right? Please let me know what works for you with posting on Google Plus! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below and see you on the Plus! kEYWORD:- how to post on google plus how to post on google plus page how to post on google plus from facebook how to post on google plus business page how to post on google plus via facebook how to post on google plus and facebook at the same time how to post on google plus communities how to post on google plus wall how to post on google plus using php how to post on google plus and facebook at the same time how to post on google plus app how to post on google plus android how to delete a post on google plus app how to post to google plus and facebook simultaneously how to post articles on google plus how to auto post on google plus how to post anonymously on google plus how to auto post on google plus php how to delete a post on google plus how to post on google plus business page how to google plus business how to post on google plus communities how to google plus chat
