8 Effective Exercises to Get a Flat Belly in Just 30 Days

One of the best ways to reduce your risk of getting cancer, diabetes, and heart disease is to focus on your waistline. Working to get the perfect beach body you’re actually has a lot of other health benefits. This workout needs to become part of your daily routine if you want ripped abs. At least start off with 4 exercises of your choice. Each one should be done for the amount of time stated with a 10-second break in between. If it gets too easy with time, add more exercises or two 2 sets of each. The Plank Common mistake: Lower back bent over and glutes pointing up. How to fix it: lower back straight and glutes pressed down. 2. Lying leg lifts Common mistake: Too much space between lower back and the floor. How to fix it: Press down your lower back to the floor and you will have better contact in your abs. Work with slow reps and dont swing your legs up and down. 3. The cable crunch Common mistake: Having no balance in the exercise. Not actually crunching, but just pulling the weights. How to fix: Make sure you do a real crunch movement (see video for an example). Have controled breathing, blow out the air when going down. 4. In and out crunch on a bench Common mistake: Chin and head pointed down. Just doing it for the reps. How to fix it: Raise up chin and head, look up and control the breathing. Slow and controled reps. 5. V-ups Common mistake: A lot of space between lower back and floor. "Swinging" up the exercise, no tension in the abs. How to fix it: Push down the lower back to the floor, slow and controled movements. 6. The good news is that we’ve put together a set of exercises for your abs and waist that you can do without getting up from your chair. Remember warming-up is an extremely important part of any workout. Continue with oblique twists. Thanks to them, you’ll be kissing that muffin top goodbye and saying hello to a slimmer waist and stronger abs. Forward bends develop a muscle called the Rectus Abdominis, which is the long flat muscle that helps flex the spinal column. When trained properly, it’ll give you a perfectly flat and toned tummy. Knees to the chest give a nice workout to your thigh muscles and the Rectus Abdominis muscle. Leg raises are great at getting rid of that annoying lower belly pooch we’d all love to send packing. As you strengthen your abs, doing knee circles will get easier with time. Losing weight requires not only physical training but also a healthy diet. Try to keep count of how many calories you consume according to the number recommended for your age, gender, and lifestyle. Your diet must be well-balanced. Half of your daily calorie consumption should come from carbs, 30% from proteins, and 20% from fats. Foods containing Omega-9 fatty acids will make you feel fuller longer, so you won’t overeat.
