Marginal Revenue Product, Marginal Product of Labor, MRP, MPL Explanation

03:08
For the Advanced Microeconomics Review please go to: http://bit.ly/2aj1txm "AP" is owned by the College Board which does not endorse this site or the above review. Study questions: 1) How does a firm determine how many workers to use? 2) How is MRP & MPL calculated? 3) If the wage of employees in perfect competition goes up, what would you expect to happen to the number of workers that the firm uses? 4) If demand for the product goes up (so price goes up), what would you expect to happen to the number of employees used? Explain 5) Based on the numbers below, state how many workers you think should be used. Assume that the product is produced in a perfectly competitive market where price = $2. Also, assume that labor is in a perfectly competitive market, with a going wage of $40 per day... # of workers 0 & output = 0 # of workers 1 & output = 30 # of workers 2 & output = 50 # of workers 3 & output = 65 # of workers 4 & output = 75 # of workers 5 & output = 79 6) Do the output numbers in question five show the law of diminishing marginal returns? Why or why not?

Economic rent

The concept of "economic rent" is a subset of factor markets that helps explain why some factors of production receive more income than others. Economic rent applies not just to land but to any scarce resource.

The Difference Between a Product and Service - How to Market a Service

05:23
http://smartmarketinggroup.com/timeblocks.htm Les: What is the obstacle you're running into most? Lorna: Well, I would love to hear your perspective on the difference between marketing a service and a product. Because you can return a product you can't return a service. Les: There's a thing that they both have in common, that most people forget. It's called the WIIFM factor. When you go out and buy something, why do you buy it? Lorna: I buy for several reasons, sometimes i Need the item, sometimes I have extra money, or something that I would love to have. Les: The reason I ask that question, is because most people's communications are selling features, not benefits. What WIIFM stands for is "What's in it for me?" And that is what most communicators fail at. Consumers are not interested in WHAT you're selling, but how are yuo going to make them more successful, richer, better looking etc. But if it is not focused on the benefits, it falls on deaf ears more often than not. And this goes the same with service, if I'm going to spend money on a service I want to know how is it going to make my job easier. When you talk about training, it is not something you can put your hands on physically, but it will enhance the value in life. Where ever there is a problem, there is an opportunity. Talk from the perspective of the audience you're trying to influence and that comes from training. You're in a business to teach them to be proactive, instead of reactive. There's a thing called the 4 rules of Smart Marketing and you're dealing mainly with the first rule. People are afraid of change, but change is constant. And if you don't change, you short change your life. You need to explain to people that "I'm going to teach you how to be open minded, I'm going to teach you have to be more acceptable of change. It's not so much product verses service, it's presentation. And the presentation isn't in a powerpoint, it is "Am I talking from the perspective of the audience?" And that is one of the biggest mistakes that I've seen over the last 5 decades. And you can ask your clients to list the benefits of why people will buy from you. Lorna: Well, I have done that and I've discovered that that is where they really do have a problem identifying the benefits. Then they all clam up and they believe that you if you speak of the features of this thing, they think you must be stupid if you can't see the benefits. Why are you asking me? You have the work in front of you to see the benefits. Les: Well there's an answer to that. In order for someone to grasp the message, you have to be redundant. Studies have shown that consumers have to see your message 17 times before it registers. Lorna: That many? Les: Yeah Lorna: Wow Les: Maybe even worse today with all the clutter that's out there. And that's the way I would come back to people. Hey, there are a lot of people out there that won't grasp the benefits as quickly as you "mr. genius" does. You have to make sure that is it your goal to show how smart you are, or is it to sell your product or service? One of the things I've learned over the years, if people are objecting you, ask them questions that you already know the questions to. It will make them think.

Cross Cultural Design: Getting It Right the First Time

04:56
Apala Lahiri Chavan talks about the issues in involved in designing for emerging markets - http://www.humanfactors.com/project/product_ideation.asp Transcript: Designing for Emerging Markets with Apala Lahiri Chavan, MA, MSc, CUA I'm Apala, and I had head a practice in cross cultural design and design for emerging markets. Some people think that you just need to translate the language of your design, switch currencies, and maybe reformat some fields, but actually it usually does not work like that. For example, if you sell deodorants and count the over four billion armpits to be deodorized, that is between India and China, you might feel it's a done deal as long as the product is available in those markets. Yeah, maybe with local language text on the packaging, but, alas, the reality of the ecosystem of your consumers in India and China are very different and very complex and, hence, need much more to be done to actually get the two billion consumers to use your product. I worked on a dialysis unit to be used at home, which worked in America just fine, but in Columbia and India, the story was different. Why? Well, the caregivers who were critical to the successful use of the dialysis unit was so much more relaxed just as a cultural attribute. So what was the impact of that relaxed attitude? Instead of heating the solution to the exact temperature, they would often keep the bag with the solution on the roof to heat in the sunlight or wrap the bag with a blanket for some time. Of course, using the solution heated in this manner would often send the patient to hospital. Now, the designers who had designed the original dialysis unit never imagined that their existent caregivers in any part of the world who could be so relaxed or was semi-literate, or perhaps that the power went out ever so often, and that the water was dangerously dirty. Our teams have actually faced daunting cross cultural challenges. Like you might suppose that the design of a wine cooler would not be hard, except in China where traditionally wine has not been a popular drink and cold drinks are considered unhealthy. The only way we succeeded was to recognize that the Chinese customers do have a passion for stylish furniture. Recently, I was working on a banking system for people from low-income segments in Africa, and it looked to me like the original design had copied the Indian banking system for similar segments, which, of course, works well in India. But in Africa where there is no caste system like there is in India, and overall there is less hierarchy than in India, this Indian system made customers feel like they were being disrespected, and that is not the ideal brand position for a bank. We've learned that the only solution is to design for the local customers' ecosystem and for the local customers' feelings. I remember working on one of the early micro finance systems, and we initially had grand visions for advanced icon driven and sound driven applications for our illiterate or semi-literate users. But in the end, what worked was only a legible, yes, a physical legible and a mobile phone with camera because that is the solution that fit. We know a lot about differences between cultures, but in the end, we have to use advanced and customized research methods so that our designs are informed and validated. There is no shortcut to success, and it's an endless journey of discovery. For example, I've been wondering about how to law of reciprocity differs between cultures. How the supposed universal obligation one feels in receiving a gift may be different across cultures. If you have noticed cultural differences in obligations, do drop me an e-mail, and I'll share what we find on HFI Connect. The V-Factor

02:54
Watch Phil and Paul from Virgin Media Business make a music video about their new digital billing portal. Virgin Media Business provides cutting edge communications and media products, expertise and innovative thinking to help UK businesses transform the way they work. Always thinking about how to improve the customer experience, our team recognised that instead of receiving a monthly paper bill, companies would benefit from more regular access to account information, to better manage their budgets. So in response, Virgin Media Business invited some customers to work with the Technology and Product teams to build a digital alternative to paper bills. The result was an online billing portal that can be customised to meet individual needs providing customers with instant access to their account information, any day, any time. Not only does the portal improve the customer experience, it is also improving resource efficiency, by reducing the volume of paper used. Paul, Director of Customer Billing told us 'We are always looking for new ways to become more sustainable. When we realised we were sending out over a million paper bills every year -- we quickly saw that using millions of sheets of paper is just not a resource efficient option.' Following a chat with Phil Stewart, Director of Customer Service at Virgin Media Business, the Sustainability team discovered that, in addition to using social media in his job, Phil is a bit of a YouTube hit. The challenge to Paul and Phil became clear: to make a YouTube hit about the Virgin Media Business switch to online billing. Drawing on their mutual love of the swinging '60s (although Paul admits to preferring Lady Gaga), Paul and Phil decided to tell their story by adapting one of their all time favourite music videos - Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues. 'It's a classic video!' says Paul, 'It's showing paper and, as we drop the paper, we want to get rid of the paper!' 'It's a really symbolic way of us saying: No more paper!' adds Phil. So, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, we give you, 'The Subterranean Paperless Bills'. Finding A Leader In Network Marketing | "Follow The Leader"

07:15
Finding a leader http://www.onlinementornow.com in network marketing will be one of the most vital steps for your success within the industry. Other factors will include product viability, product knowledge and marketing, but for this here we will focus on the game of "follow the leader". It could be a loaded question when I ask that question, "are you working from home?" So many want to, but so many do not even try. As for myself, what did I have to lose? What did I have to gain? What did it take to accomplish? Just the willingness to follow the leader, understand what it takes and the willingness to put forth the effort down the path I chose was all. Finding a leader in network marketing will be the one major factor for your success here. The other major factor will be YOU replicating that fact.

How price is determined in perfect competition

02:57
This movie goes over how price is determined in a perfectly competitive market. Sometimes its confusing to see the "price taker" idea applied, and this movie shows how the individual firm takes the price from the whole market as its price. More information on perfect competition and prices is available at: https://www.freeeconhelp.com/2011/09/calculating-equilibrium-values-for.html The trick here is to remember that firms operating in perfect competition are price takers and that price is determined in the market place. The equilibrium price from the market place is then transferred to the perfectly competitive firm's individual revenue and cost graph for analysis.

Chapter 8 - Understanding Market and Industry Changes

10:24
Chapter 8 Video Lecture Managerial Economics: A Problem Solving Approach by Luke Froeb, Brian McCann Summary of Main Points Chapter 8 -- A market has a product, geographic, and time dimension. Define the market before using supply--demand analysis. -- Market demand describes buyer behavior; market supply describes seller behavior in a competitive market. -- If price changes, quantity demanded increases or decreases (represented by a movement along the demand curve). -- If a factor other than price (like income) changes, we say that demand curve increases or decreases (a shift of demand curve). -- Supply curves describe the behavior of sellers and tell you how much will be sold at a given price. -- Market equilibrium is the price at which quantity supplied equals quantity demanded. If price is above the equilibrium price, there are too many sellers, forcing price down, and vice versa.

The Product/Company Interplay - Marc Andreessen (Serial Entrepreneur)

03:22
Many of the most successful technology enterprises were launched as products, observes Marc Andreessen, serial entrepreneur, including Facebook, Twitter, and others. He states that tools created this way are based purely on market demand, making these applications much more compelling. To the contrary, companies that establish themselves first and then work to craft an application have their achievements, but they are more likely to plummet into failure. Entrepreneurs approaching from this angle can too often fool themselves into believing they have a tool of value.

What Is Collagen and What Does It Do

06:16
Visit http://www.FaceTransformation.com for more great articles, videos, and secrets on how to stay young and sexy! http://www.FaceTransformation.com is the place for the best facial exercise programs on the planet, as well as info on all-natural techniques on beauty, health, and anti-aging! VIDEO TRANSCRIPT ------------------------------- What Is Collagen and What Does It Do Whenever you pick up a product for treating aging or see any advertisement of such product, most of the time, there will be mention of the word "collagen" in it one way or another. Have you ever wondered what is collagen? Or why is it considered so important for looking young and healthy? Well to be technical, collagen is a kind of protein that makes up nearly 25% of total amount of proteins found in the bodies of all mammals, including humans. According to American Academy of Dermatology, throughout your body, you have about 25 different types of identifiable collagens! Among them, at least a dozen are more are present in your skin only! That is why, when it comes to skin aging and skin care, it is very important to know thoroughly the answer to the question, "what is collagen". The Roles Of Collagen In search of the answer, you have to first know what are roles that collagen plays in your body, especially in your skin. This abundant protein is responsible for providing to your tissues structural support. That is why fibrous tissues like tendons, cartilages, muscles, ligaments and skin have an abundance of collagen in them. This protein is also found in teeth, bone, lungs and in other internal organs in your body. By working with other proteins like elastin, it connects and supports body tissues; it provides the strength and firmness while elastin provides flexibility. These proteins cells are even working in your blood vessels! Role Of Collagen In Skin Now that you know something regarding the question "what is collagen", let's now learn its role in maintaining our skin. First of all, the middle layer of our skin, the dermis, is mostly made of collagen. According to American Academy of Dermatology, about 80% of the dry weight of dermis is collagen! It forms a fibrous network which helps in the growth of new cells. And along with keratin, collagen provides strength, resilience and flexibility to your skin. When you see stretch marks in your skin, it means this network has broken due to excessive stretching of the skin! Role Of Collagen In Aging Most of the time, you will hear the term "collagen" in relation to skin aging. By the time you are in your mid-20s, the production of collagen slows down and elastic fibers of your skin begin to lose their spring! So if you had not bothered to learn "what is collagen", it is very important that you start learning all you can about this protein by the time you are 30! That is because, in addition to slowing of collagen production, the turnover of new skin cells is also going to decrease with time and you will start noticing fine lines, wrinkles and other signs of aging! We are also responsible for hastening the process; we fail to notice that habits like smoking or sun exposure without any sunscreen accelerates our skin aging. That is why the main purpose of most anti-aging products in the market is to boost collagen production, as that can lead to healthier and younger looking skin. Collagen And Disease We lose collagen not only due to natural aging factor but also due to other reasons as well. One such is the malfunctioning of the structure or in production of collagen modules. Many genetic disorders like Ehlers-Danlos syndrome or acquired diseases like systemic sclerosis also show collagen abnormalities as a manifestation of the problem. When there is a significant decrease in the level of collagen, the patient is said to suffer osteogenesis imperfecta, also known as the brittle bone disease. Medical Use Of Collagen Now that you know thoroughly about what is collagen and why it is important, let us read about the medical use of this protein. You can get collagen from many sources like cow skin, pig skin, from a deceased donor's skin and even from the patient's own skin. The collagen thus collected is used as facial fillers to improve skin texture, tone and appearance. When injected into the skin by dermatologist, the collagen starts working as body's own collagen. Lastly, collagen is also sold as nutritional supplement to those suffering from joint problems, and also used for creating skin substitutes for patients with severe degree of burns.

Manchester Motor Factors (MMF) has replaced its entire range of exhausts

04:14
Local auto parts supply specialist and GAU member Manchester Motor Factors has re-profiled, re-categorised and replaced its entire current stock of replacement exhaust components in order to improve stock levels, availability and quality consistency for customers. The huge task has been completed in just one day, without any disruption in supply. The entire new stock, including the logistics and profiling work has been supplied by the UKs leading manufacturer, Klarius Group. MMF owner Asif Fazal is committed to delivering customer value, as well as quality, and these have been the main driving factors behind the decision to change supplier and to take on the challenge of completing the operation in one sweep. 'The business has grown organically based on hard work and looking after customers, we knew that the range and quality of the products on offer from Klarius was excellent and we support the idea of stocking only type-approved exhausts and CATs. Klarius are also constantly introducing new products to the market, which allows us to keep ahead of customer demand.' 'The issue with changing supplier for a large range of products was always with how to change out the stock and all the product references without spending a huge amount of time on administration. The flexibility and support shown by Klarius in assisting with the changeover and taking responsibility for the removal and disposal of the old stock meant we could make a clean break without disrupting the excellent customer service levels we have spent so long building up.' Commenting on the operation to replace the stock, Klarius Key Account Manager Mark Norris explains, 'We have replaced the entire stock for distributors before, as well as stocking new warehouse facilities from scratch, which is something we have done several times over the last six to eight months in the UK and abroad. Hence, we have a professional team on hand that is used to working quickly and taking care of all the small details that can slow things down and provide frustration on the day. It is this experience which has led us to offer the stock profiling, labelling and logistics service.' 'It is unusual to complete the entire process in one day though; this includes the removal of several hundred items of scrap and the careful refilling of the storage space with over 2,000 items of profiled stock for immediate availability. We have supplied over 1,500 brand new exhaust pipes and silencers, plus over 500 catalytic converters to cover short-term demand, we will continuously monitor the stock from now on and make daily deliveries of replacement stock available from our own fleet of trucks operating our own logistics system.' The fact that Klarius does operate its own delivery fleet, and logistics operation, means that over 90% of its deliveries are completed by Klarius trucks and drivers. Having both UK based manufacturing and a huge dynamic stock of emission control products, held at a state-of-the-art national distribution centre in Cheadle, means Klarius is likely to be the only company in the UK that is able to provide the type of service MMF has received. MMF can also expect on-going support that includes access to a dedicated technical support team and same-day delivery direct from stock on a range of emission control products that covers over 97% of the vehicles on UK roads today. About the KLARIUS Group Klarius Group is the largest European manufacturer of aftermarket car parts today. The Klarius Group operates five high-volume Manufacturing Plants, a Research & Development Centre, four European Technical Centres, eight International Logistics & Distribution Hubs, and eighteen national and regional Stock Warehouses based across Europe. What is Network Marketing, Home Based Business Opportunity

07:35
http://www.BestHomeBusinessOnline.info Migdalia & Arsteo What is Network Marketing, Home Based Business Opportunity? Network marketing is a business model that is based on a company distributing products and services through a network of independent contractors. Network marketing is also popularly known as multi-level marketing (MLM), affiliate marketing, and tiered marketing. http://www.BestHomeBusinessOnline.info To understand how network marketing works, it may be helpful to think of a business model that most consumers are familiar with, franchising. In a franchise, an owner pays a company for the right to do business using that company's products, services, and name. The parent company agrees to provide the owner with training, development, advertising and marketing support. While the name on the outside of the building is that of the parent company, the actual location is privately owned by an independent business owner. http://www.BestHomeBusinessOnline.info While networking marketing is not actually a franchising model of business, it does work in a similar fashion. In fact some large MLM companies refer to its business plan informally as "private franchising". In network marketing, a company distributes its products and services through independent business owners (IBO) who in turn market these products and services to customers of their own. http://www.BestHomeBusinessOnline.info The key factor that has made network marketing so attractive is that independent business owners not only have the ability to sell products and services to retail customers they are also able to expand their business by setting up others in their own businesses as well. This is commonly known as "sponsoring" in the MLM industry. Sponsoring others allow a business owner to not only profit from what he directly sells, but also allows him to profit from the sales production of those he has sponsored. http://www.BestHomeBusinessOnline.info Because of the structure of a network marketing business, many people mistakenly believe that all MLM companies are illegal pyramid schemes. In actuality legitimate network marketing companies are not pyramids. The belief that MLM companies are illegal pyramid schemes may have popularly taken root in 1975, when the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) accused Amway Corporation of being an illegal pyramid. However in 1979 a US Federal Judge determined that the networking marketing plan used by Amway was indeed a legitimate business model. This decision in turn helped to legitimize other MLM companies. This does not mean however that all companies who purport to be legitimate businesses, are. The entrepreneur who is considering network marketing should consider these factors: * The length of time the company has been in business. * The up-front investment to start the business. Many reputable companies do not require a large start-up fee. * The product return policy of the company. Legitimate companies generally allow for the return of products. * The amount of training and development available to IBOs. Migdalia & Aristeo http://BestHomeBusinessOnline.info

Partnering: success in the 21st century Pt 2 - Allan Jarvis

15:00
Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/user/vaccinenation One of the more popular speakers at the Congress, Allan Jarvis of Sanofi-Pasteur, spoke on the role of partnering to accelerate growth. As a backdrop for the most recent discussion, he gave an overview of Sanofi's strategy on the first day of the Congress. There are two key forces that drive big pharma to partner with others throughout the value chain: fueling the R&D pipeline and gaining access to new markets. Fueling the R&D pipeline The product pipeline is at the heart of a pharma company's future prospects. In Sanofi's pipeline are vaccines against dengue fever, rotavirus, and pneumococcal as well as better versions of pediatric combination vaccines. However, partnership is required to advance these products as judged by the fact that 65% of products in clinical testing are a result of partnerships. These relationships are even more important in preclinical studies where 80% of products are from partnerships. Sanofi has a broad interest in partnerships that is not restricted to just acquiring product candidates. They are looking for new antigens, formulations, delivery systems, and even outsourced research or manufacturing capabilities. As an example, Sanofi has partnered with the Naval Medical Research Center to develop a vaccine against travelers' diarrhea. They have also partnered with VaxDesign to use the proprietary surrogate human immune system product to accelerate product evaluation. Gaining access to new markets Looking at annual birth cohorts, the four countries of Mexico, Brazil, India and China represent nearly 50 million births. That compares to only 8 million births every year in the combined countries of Western Europe and the United States. These relatively untapped markets represent compound annual growth rates of 15%-20% thanks to the growth of both public and private spending, a renewed focus on strong childhood healthcare, and the many unmet vaccination needs. For instance, China will be the second largest vaccine market by 2020. The Chinese government increased spending on the national immunization plan by a factor of ten from 2006 to 2007 and nearly doubled the number of diseases covered. The prospects for the Indian market are similar. However, there are some inherent challenges to entering these markets. Sanofi has mitigated these by partnering with local developers and manufacturers. With Birmex in Mexico, they built a manufacturing facility that can produce 25M doses per year. In Brazil, Sanofi joined with Instituto Butantan to locally produce flu vaccines; the result of that collaboration is expected to expand immunization rates, improve the local response to pandemics and serve as a foundation for the introduction of other vaccines. FALSE LASH EFFECT FUSION MASCARA MAX FACTOR - REVIEW

08:20
DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE AND LIKE! A great drug store mascara that will not break the bank (it costs just over £10,00). It has a plastic wand and volumises lashes. I bought it in a 3X2 offer at Boots. It does not flake, smudge or clump (if you apply one coat). Max Factor has pulled out from the US market recently (why?!); it is available in Europe. What the marketing blurb says: Unlike some other volumising mascaras that only create volume at the base, new False Lash Effect Mascara wraps each lash right to the tip for a false lash effect. Max Factor's biggest ever brush with 50% more bristles gives a sweep of never-ending volume for a glamorous look you never thought your own lashes could give you. Unleash your lash potential. Max Factor False Lash Effect purple pack limited edition Following the huge success of Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara, Max Factor now has a limited edition purple pack to deliver a big-lash look to mascara lovers. False Lash Effect is Max Factor's biggest selling mascara with nearly three packs selling across the UK every minute*! False Lash Effect Limited Edition uses Max Factor's biggest ever mascara wand and doubles the size of lashes**, creating a false lash impact you never thought your own lashes could give you! Designed to give you the look of false lashes without the tricky application hassle, False Lash Effect in purple is out for a limited period so get it now before it runs out. Max Factor Make Up Artist Caroline Barnes says: "False Lash Effect is the original and the best and now it's this season's hottest make-up accessory." http://www.boots.com/en/Max-Factor-False-Lash-Effect-Mascara_641711/

Market System (#2)

02:16
VOICE NARRATOR: Raw materials flow through a web of business firms to make products for consumers. The firms need labor, at the direction of the entrepreneurs, or the managers. Inside a firm, the manager directs the employees to work; to make the product ready for sale. All businesses are groups, each one with a center of control. But when we take the whole market economy as a group, what is at the center? There is no central planning, which would make it a command economy. Here we are looking at the market system for its group properties, after looking at the web and the product-chains matrix. We always want to think in different views. We use these shapes a lot. Now every group has a central context of common ideas. This is a basic symbol. The market uses money, prices, and private property. These are central ideas, but they are decentralized in operation. And we need laws, with a legal system. Money, prices, property, and laws, all make trading easier. But central planning will slow it down. The center cannot have enough knowledge to direct the billions of local decisions. Any system must answer the "big three" economic questions: what to make, how to make it, and who receives it. The market system is a kind of group; but it is also shaped by separate business enterprises that make decisions by supply and demand. The result is more coordination and efficiency, more freedom for suppliers and consumers, and more innovation, and variety of products.

How to Prevent Sliding | Pole Dance

02:54
Watch more How to Pole Dance videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/460932-How-to-Prevent-Sliding-Pole-Dance My name is Mai Yee. I'm an instructor at Sheila Kelley's S Factor Studio in Manhattan, New York. I've been doing this movement for five years now. It's a movement that combines ballet, pilates, striptease, and pole dancing. We have a website where you can get more information, and that's www.sfactor.com. I'm here today to talk to you about pole dancing. As a balance you want to find between having enough of a grip on the pole, not sliding, and also allowing for spinning to happen. Obviously, you don't want to wear any lotion on your hands or any part of your body that's gonna touch the pole, including oils in your hair. If you touch your hair you might bring that onto the pole. If you want to use some kind of conditioner on your legs that's not gonna make it slick for you on the pole. Aloe Vera gel is kind of something I've discovered that works really well. You can use alcohol; put it on a rag to wipe down your pole to keep the pole dry and free of buildup. Some poles use Windex or water, so look at the instructions on your pole to see what's appropriate. Humidity and the temperature of the room also affect how the pole feels. The warmer and more humid it is, the stickier your grip's gonna be. You also want to warm up the pole. Do some easy walks around the pole, some easy spins, and as the pole heats up with your body heat and your body heats up, that, your grip will get better. If you still have problems with very sweaty hands and slipping there are some products you can get. Dry Hands is one that I know that's on the market and when you put it on it repels moisture, so it actually kind of keeps the moisture from your hands from getting on the pole. If you have the other issue of too dry hands, there's a product Mighty Grip. This makes your grip a little more tacky so that you're not sliding from being too dry. There are also gloves that they make for pole dancing and if you're using a stationary pole you want to be sure that the palm is not tacky. I have a student actually who uses driving gloves with leather, a leather palm, and that works really well for her. If you buy a new pole and you feel that it's too slippery, I had a student who bought a sanding pad and just roughed up the surface to make the grip a little more sticky for her. So get creative. See what works for you. Find that perfect balance for yourself, a comfy grip and you'll be able to spin and do your inversions and anything you want on the pole.

best-video-games-system.mp4

Finding the Best Video Game System Technology never ceases to amaze everyone with the great developments being done every single day. The expansion of technology is far beyond the ability pf the mind to imagine. Comparing the past decade to now, there are a lot of developments and improvements in terms of technology, that would have seemed impossible then. Before, cellular phones existed only for the sake of communication, but today these tools can even be used for other things like photo capturing, music playing, voice recording, etc. The most anticipated invention that was ever invented by kids and kids at heart is the video game. There are also so many versions of games that can be found in the market. The desire of the people to have something to do during leisure time prompted other people to conceptualize and finally invent indoor electronic games. Video game keeps on innovating and its peripherals and other devices used in these games are also being developed and improved as time goes by. Video game systems are the hardware devices that are being used to play the games. Video games systems are also known as video game consoles. Consoles, basically, are compatible with any other game that manufacturers come up to widen their market. However, because of the heavy demand of consumers in the market, console makers and software or game programmers tie up to come up with a perfect combination for their products to sell. There are consoles though that is universal in the sense that it can play at least all programmed games available in the market. In the past years, plenty of game system developers introduced their own video game systems. These systems have different specifications and have unique abilities in the aspect of computer gaming. Plus, every maker has their own distinct abilities and design that they apply to their product. Because of this enormity of factors to consider, gamers and consumers are left with only one question in their mind: What will I buy? And what is the best for me? For many, these questions are so hard to answer especially if they do not have enough idea of the video game systems available. So, answering these kinds of questions does not just require asking or talking to other people but as well as having your own personal research. There are considerations to take in choosing the best video game console for you. A game console can never be regarded as the best by any other person except by yourself. Products like video game systems are not directly related to what you want and what you are satisfied with and not by what they can give you, although the specification of a certain device is a big factor for your satisfaction. To help you in choosing the best video game, here are some things to do in finding and choosing the best video game system: • Know what you want first. As stated above, what satisfies you is something that only you can answer. The video game system that you must choose must be something you like and according to how you know your self and your desires, and not just because it is something that your friend has. Your friend might have different expectations in a video game system but it helps if you see theirs first to know if you like it. • Take the endeavor seriously. Choosing a video game system is just like choosing what car you would want to drive. Check everything, whether your prospect video game system can really give you the best output, like in the audio, the resolution of the video, the game pad, etc. • Search for video game consoles in the Internet. There are plenty of product makers that post their products on the Internet. • Consider those video game systems that are made by known console makers around the world. This will not just give you the best quality there is, but it can also help you adjust whenever these companies make improvements with their products. In gaming, compatibility is an important factor to consider. • Think about what other things would you like your video game system to do for you. Does it offer add-on peripherals? Game pads must also be comfortable to handle. Best video game systems can be made best only if your expectations are fully met. Choosing such a device is primarily dependent on characteristics that your video game system must possess.

Sustaining Your Prospecting Pipeline

26:57
Success in selling life insurance, especially in the first two years in the business, requires that the agent maintain a steady stream of qualified individuals, households, and business professionals to talk to about insurance. Prospecting is the process of gaining access to these prospects in a meaningful way. There are many tools and techniques available to the agent to generate qualified suspects to approach. By qualified suspects we mean those individuals who, because of their age, profession, income, etc., may indicate an interest or a need to speak with you about life insurance. Direct mail, purchased leads, website lead generation, and seminars are all examples of tools to gather names and information. The process for sustaining a prospecting pipeline includes two critical parts. The first step is to mine the sources that are available to you for generating names. These fall into two categories: your natural market and the developed market. The natural market, also known as "friends and family", is those people who know you or are acquainted with you in some way. Your natural market includes family members, friends, co-workers, etc. You also have what we call close ties to your natural market. These include service providers such as your contractor, hair stylist, auto mechanic, etc. Your natural market has the advantages of easier access and a shorter time frame for generating sales. The developed market includes the vast landscape of individuals who don't know you; they are "cold" prospects. The developed market offers a greater opportunity to sell, but requires more time and money than your natural market. A key to success with the developed market is to create a detailed plan for accessing this universe using SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-sensitive) goals. You need to decide what market segments you want to work in (small business owners, professionals, high net-worth individuals) and develop a budget and time frame for measuring success. Gaining access is not enough, and this leads to the second critical factor to sustain your prospecting pipeline. You need to have a compelling value proposition, or "elevator speech", that will motivate a prospect to want to meet with you. A well-crafted elevator speech answers the questions your prospects are thinking and may ask, "What do you do?" and "How do you do that?" It also creates a lasting impression of you in their minds.

PROMATIS BPM Business Process Management (english)

04:33
Logistics and trade industry: Customers expect fast delivery and absolute dependability. Efficiency is paramount here to meet the challenges of increasingly demanding markets. Changeability becomes a critical success factor. All parties involved must work together closely so that this orchestra of logistics, business processes and customer service will interact perfectly. Processes have to be optimized, collaboration has to be organized. Modern software technology helps in this case. The solution is called "Business Process Management". How does this work? Along with the enterprise, the PROMATIS business experts collect business processes in graphical models to begin with. The models are then made available to specific departments utilizing secure Web 2.0 technologies. Social BPM at its best! External business partners can be integrated over the Internet. A networked business community is the result that can now examine the models, expanding and refining them as needed. Everyone must make a contribution to ensure that all aspects of the business process are gathered so that the resulting solution is then accepted and used by everyone involved. Changeability is THE critical success factor for any enterprise today. The business process model must be brought to life for this change to become reality: The transition to the Oracle BPM Suite takes place per generator. The results are directly executable BPMN models within a precise IT architecture. Enterprise-critical processes must work seamlessly with enterprise applications, however. The IT department will ensure that this takes place: They will allow the BPM Suite to securely access SAP applications, data warehouses, document management systems or business-to-business interfaces via Web services. Human workflow, office document integration, email and more? No problem for the Oracle BPM Suite. All personnel involved are integrated into the process by using customized Web portals, allowing them to quickly and easily access or enter information as needed. External business partners can also be securely integrated in this way, of course. For example, this way, an ordered replacement part can be seamlessly tracked from the manufacturer all the way to the time of delivery. And the interesting thing lies in the details: How are processing times put together, where do costs arise, at which points did questions come up? It's particularly in change processes, when monitoring of business activities and the impact analysis of these changes present themselves as a benefit. As an example, one can nicely see how the frequency of queries in the process analysis portal decreases significantly. Using business process management, one can optimize and efficiently control enterprise processes in all areas: Finance, human resources, supply chain, sales, customer service and so on. PROMATIS has implemented business process management solutions in various industries for more than 15 years now, including financial services, the manufacturing industry, for service providers and in trade. Help! Ik Ben Verliefd!

01:14
UPDATE! Nov. 2012. GOUDEN TIP! An essay on Help! Ik ben Verliefd! Man's greatest achievement? Perhaps not, but can you afford not to read on when I am about to tell you about Help! Ik ben Verliefd!? Underestimate Help! Ik ben Verliefd! at your peril. Cited by many as the single most important influence on post modern micro eco compartmentalism, it is yet to receive proper recognition for laying the foundations of democracy. It is an unfortunate consequence of our civilizations history that Help! Ik ben Verliefd! is rarely given rational consideration by the over 50, trapped by their infamous history. At the heart of the subject are a number of key factors. I plan to examine each of these factors in detail and and asses their importance. Social Factors Society is a human product. When Lance Bandaner said 'twelve times I've traversed the ocean of youthful ambition but society still collects my foot prints' [1] he saw clearly into the human heart. Spanning divides such as class, race and uglyness, Help! Ik ben Verliefd! helps to provide some sort of equilibrium in this world of ever changing, always yearning chaos. Did I mention how lovely Help! Ik ben Verliefd! is? Society is powered by peer pressure, one of the most powerful forces in the world. As long as peer pressure uses its power for good, Help! Ik ben Verliefd! will have its place in society. Economic Factors There has been a great deal of discussion in the world of economics, centred on the value of Help! Ik ben Verliefd!. We will begin by looking at the Simple-Many-Pies model, a classic economic system of analysis. Market Value Of Gold Help! Ik ben Verliefd! The statistics make it clear that Help! Ik ben Verliefd! is a major market factor. Of course the market value of gold is in financial terms 'holding hands with Help! Ik ben Verliefd!.' What it all comes down to is money. Capitalists love Help! Ik ben Verliefd!. Political Factors Machiavellian politics is rife. Are our leaders justified in pursuing and maintaining political power? Contrasting the numerous political activists campaigning for the interests of Help! Ik ben Verliefd! can be like looking at the two, equally popular approaches to Help! Ik ben Verliefd!. If the reader is unaware of these, they need only to turn on the television, or pick up a newspaper or popular magazine. Take a moment to consider the words of the uncompromising Demetrius B. Adger 'consciousness complicates a myriad of progressions.' [2] What a fantastic quote. History tells us that Help! Ik ben Verliefd! will always be a vote winner, whether we like it, or not. The question which we must each ask ourselves is, will we allow Help! Ik ben Verliefd! to win our vote? Conclusion In my opinion Help! Ik ben Verliefd! is both a need and a want. It collaborates successfully, puts out 'fires', and it is human. I'll leave you with this quote from Courteney Poppins: 'I wouldn't be where I am today without Help! Ik ben Verliefd!.' [3]

Partnering: success in the 21st century - Allan Jarvis
