12 Most POISONOUS Fish In The World

11:19
The Puffer Fish or the Box Jellyfish are among the most poisonous fish in the world. Let's take a look and see how to stay safe! SUBSCRIBE for the latest videos: https://goo.gl/7xzjzR Don't forget to CHECK OUT our latest upload: https://goo.gl/LUB8Xw 10. Stingray At number 10, we have the stingray which, just like its name, is notoriously known for stinging its potential harmers. The Stingray has stingers in its tail that have poisonous glands on their underside that can cause swelling with pain and bacterial infection on human victims. These stingers can grow to a maximum length of 35 cm only, but are dangerous enough for divers and bathers in areas where they breed. This fish type is however not known for any fatalities. It feeds on crustaceans and other small fish and mainly settles at the sea bottom when feeding. Stingrays are mostly found in tropical and subtropical coasts and are not known to attack humans unless provoked 9. Weever Fish After the stingray, the Weever fish follows at 37cm as number 9 in our list. Well, pretty small this one, you may say, but the weever is one of the most poisonous fish you’ll probably come across if you are not lucky and its effects on your body won’t be pleasing. This type of fish is mainly found in the Mediterranean, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Atlantic coasts of some European countries. It mostly attacks by biting the feet or hands of human victims when bathing in shallow waters. Their bites are characterized by itching and swelling, and these are just but the most pronounced of all the symptoms caused by these fish. Other symptoms include lightheadedness and tremors. 8. Clown Fish Moving on to number 8 we have the clownfish which is basically a small fish that can grow up to about 15-16 cm in length. They are mainly found warm places like in the Indian Ocean and are omnivores in nature. This genre of fish feeds on zooplanktons mainly and can survive in the most poisonous and toxic of environments. Getting to their environment presents one with a 7. Scorpion Fish The scorpion fish is not an exemption and comes at number 7 in our countdown with so much to contribute in this list. First of all, this fish contains spines that are covered in mucus toxins that inflict a lot of pain to human victims who are unlucky enough to have an encounter with them and to certain animals This type of fish is known for its tactical hunting techniques where it first blends with the environment then pounces on the unsuspecting prey so fast, swallowing it whole. It mainly hunts at night and is known to feed on small fish and crustaceans in the reefs. 6. Giant Moray The Giant Moray is a type of eel that can grow up to 3 meters in size and weigh up to 30 kg in weight, and hence its name. Coming at number 6, the Giant Moray is a very poisonous fish if consumed and can cause serious illness to the victim or sometimes even . 5. Yellow Boxfish The yellow boxfish comes at number five and is of course a force to be reckoned with under the waters. Its suggestive name indeed shows that it has a box-shape and a bright yellow color, but during its glory days. This color fades with age and an old boxfish can be blue-greyish, all the bright yellow having vanished almost entirely. 4. Lionfish At number four is the deadly lionfish, mostly found in the Indian and west pacific waters and is definitely one of the top four most poisonous fish in the world. The lionfish weighs about 0.025-1.3 kg and its length varies from 5 cm-45 cm. These species, just like the clownfish are known to be very attractive and mostly lure their prey, like the clownfish, to their snares and get food. 3. Puffer Fish Mainly found in the warm waters of the tropics, the puffer fish is undisputedly a top three as one of the world’s most poisonous fish. This fish can grow up to 90 - 100 cm in length and inflates with air and water when provoked. Despite their highly toxic nature, the puffer fish are also eaten in some parts of Japan China and Korea where chefs eliminate the poisonous parts serving the rest of the fish as a delicacy! 2. Stonefish It is indeed one of the most dangerous fish you will in encounter in the Indo-pacific. Coming at number two, the stone fish is known to sting swimmers who sometimes step on them obliviously, as this type tends to camouflage with the environment and look just like a normal stone in the sea. These species can grow to a length of 30-40 cm and weigh up to 2 kgs. They are very fast in attacking their prey and use their camouflaging skills in launching the attacks to their unaware targets. 1. Box Jellyfish And finally, at the very top of our list, comes this sea monster, the box jellyfish, which is not a threat because of its size really, but its highly poisonous nature. It is undisputedly the most poisonous fish in the water.

Half-human Half-fish MERMAID Washed Up On A Beach In Hawaii

04:04
For years now, there have been reported sightings of mermaid-like creatures in Kilauea Falls, Hawaii. But without proof, these eyewitness reports and stories have been dismissed as old wives’ tales and tourism lures. Much like is said about the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland. But these stunning photographs below could well dispel that. They appear to show the body of one of the mysterious half-human/half-fish creatures, washed up on the beach. There’s been no official explanation of the appearance from any Hawaiian authorities, although eyewitness testimonials say that governments officials and scientists were quick on the scene to remove the body. Until now, evidence of aquatic humanoids have been confined to grainy photographs and unclear video footage. But this as yet unidentified creature could well prove to be our finest proof that these famed beings exist. You can clearly see the distinguishing upper body features are that of a human female. And lower down, the bottom half is undoubtedly the kind of body one would expect to find on a sea animal, specifically a fish. The body was only recently discovered and is thought to be currently undergoing tests to determine its origin and potential authenticity at The University of Hawaii’s Institute of Marine Biology in Kaneohe. A thorough examination of the animal should prove conclusive and could, potentially, change the way we look at nature. Sightings of mermaids – and mermen – date back hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Famed explorers such as Christopher Columbus and Captain John Smith (of Pocahontas fame) wrote of their experiences with them whilst exploring the ocean. Smith saw ‘a big-eyed, green-haired mermaid in 1614 off the coast of Newfoundland’ and even claimed to feel ‘love’ for her. that was until he realized that she was in fact a fish from the waist down… Earlier sightings of mermaids on the site where the corpse was washed up have stimulated debate about the potential existence of such things. Here’s what appears to be a mermaid on a rock, just a few hundred metres from where this latest being was found. In 2012, The United States National Ocean Service declared officially that ‘no evidence of mermaids has ever been found’. Might this latest discovery change all that? Maybe. Maybe not. The skeletal remains of what appeared to be a mermaid washed up on a beach in Egypt in 1997 (see below). Tests proved inconclusive, but scientists couldn’t rule out the possibility that what was found was mermaid in origin. Many at the time said that authorities were quick to dismiss the notion without conducting enough in-depth tests. Could it really be a mermaid? Is there another explanation? We look forward to finding out when the lab results come back…

10 MOST DANGEROUS OCEAN CREATURES IN THE WORLD

10:17
10 Most Dangerous Water Animals In The World ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/vHN6qB For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] There are many different types of creatures that live in streams, lakes, seas and oceans. And while many of these creatures are harmless, there are many that are incredibly dangerous if you happen to have an encounter with them. These dangerous animals lurk beneath the surface of the water in a world vastly different than ours, and must be deadly to survive. Join us as we take a look at 10 of the most dangerous water creatures. 10. Australian Box Jellyfish – This creature is not one to be messed around with if you happen to swim into a swarm of them. And while they may seem harmless, the Australian box jellyfish is considered to be the most venomous marine animal in the world. They have tentacles that are covered with tiny darts called nematocysts, and they are loaded with poison. 9. Flower Urchin – Beautiful but deadly, these sea urchins are extremely venomous. They look like a bouquet of small flowers; to which they get their name from. They feed on invertebrates, sponges, and dead fish, and have well developed jaws for grinding up their prey. 8. The Saltwater Crocodile – Evolving around 200 million years in the Mesozoic epoch, crocodiles have far outlived the dinosaurs. The Salt water crocodile is the world’s largest reptile, and they have been known to grow up to 27 feet long and weigh 2,465 lbs. 7. Textile Cone Snail – Mother nature teaches us that anything in nature that is beautiful, is most likely deadly, and a warning to predators and humans to not touch or disturb them. This holds true for the Textile Cone Snail. 6. The Sea Snake – These highly venomous marine snakes are closely related and belong to the same family as the cobra. There are two independently evolved groups: the true sea snakes which are related to Australian terrestrial elapids, and the sea kraits which are related to Asian cobras. 5. The Lionfish – Lionfish are skilled hunters, using specialized bilateral swim bladder muscles to provide exquisite control of location in the water column, allowing the fish to alter its center of gravity to better attack prey. The lionfish then spreads its large pectoral fins and swallows its prey in a single motion. 4. The Stingray – Stingrays are a group of rays, which are cartilaginous fish related to sharks, and are one of the oceans deadliest creatures. Most stingrays have one or more barbed stingers on their tails, which are used exclusively for self-defense. 3. Blue-Ringed Octopus – This octopus has some of the most striking colors of any ocean creature. They get their name from the brightly blue colored rings on its body. 2. Needlefish – These strange looking creatures are very slender, and have a single dorsal fin, placed far back on the body. Needlefish are capable of making short jumps out of the water at up to 37 mph. Since Needlefish swim near the surface, they often leap over the decks of shallow boats rather than going around. 1. The Moray Eel - Most attacks stem from disruption of a moray's burrow to which they react strongly, but an increasing number of accidents also occur during hand feeding of morays by divers, an activity often used by dive companies to attract tourists.

10 Sea Monsters ATTACKING A Boat!

12:03
Check out these 10 sea monsters attacking a boat! This top 10 list of ocean creatures like whales and great white sharks attacking a ship shows some bizarre stories caught on camera! Subscribe For New Videos! http://goo.gl/UIzLeB Watch our "MYSTERIOUS Creatures Living At The BOTTOM Of The World!" video here: https://youtu.be/Efhjc-Gu508 Watch our "SECRETS Casinos DON'T Want You To Find Out!" video here: https://youtu.be/hAoABuvzOZM Watch our "RAREST And Most EXPENSIVE Cars In The World!" video here: https://youtu.be/MtCnWSqqilg 10. Great White Shark If you’ve been on a boat out on the ocean, a Jaws attack has probably crossed your mind. Even if it’s just barely!! Then of course you rationalize that the chances of that happening are practically 0. Practically. That’s what Terry Selwood, a 73-year-old Australian fisherman learned in 2017, when a great white shark leapt out of the water, into his boat!! 9. An Eagle Ray Rays seem like beautiful, serene creatures - but they can be extremely dangerous, even if you’re on the relative safety of a large tourist boat. In 2011, Jenny Hausch had rented a 26-foot catamaran for her family to take a trip in Florida. Sounds really nice right? 8. Swordfish In 2017, Alan Pope, a British tourist, was on a boat trip getting ready to go snorkeling in Indonesia when everything went horribly wrong. Without any warning, a swordfish jumped out of the water and into the boat, and impaled his neck with its bill. The end snapped off, and left six inches of the sword still jabbed inside his neck, just millimeters from instantly killing him. 7. Sperm Whales The Gulf of Alaska is a prime fishing location, especially for those trying to catch black cod. In these waters, though, there is a much larger creature that also likes eating the fish- sperm whales. They are the ocean’s largest toothed predators, and while they are quite capable of catching food for themselves, they much prefer taking the easy route. 6. Giant Squid Mostly creatures of legend, giant squids are mentioned in many old mariners tales of dangers at sea. But they are rarely seen, let alone involved in attacking boats. So when a team of French sailors came face to face with one in 2003, they almost didn’t believe it!! 5. Bull Shark You might think that a great white shark would be the most problematic shark species to boats, but there’s another type that can be more aggressive, and more likely to risk an encounter. 4. Jellyfish Sometimes it’s the smallest things that can have the biggest effect, something that became ever so apparent in 2017 when Chinese scientists were investigating why their aircraft carriers were experiencing difficulties. They found that large swarms of Jellyfish were getting caught up in the propulsion systems! This would stop the ships dead in their tracks, or cause the engines to overheat and cause extreme damage. 3. Mako Shark This next story took place just last year, 2017 in Long Island, New York. A fishing charter boat was taking guests to the location where they find the widest variety of fish, when suddenly a Mako shark jumped onto the side of the boat. Unfortunately for the fish, it managed to get itself stuck in the handrail of the boat and, despite thrashing about, it couldn’t free itself. 2. Black Marlin Game fishing is a popular pastime for many enthusiasts, but when you’re chasing after some of the largest and most powerful marine creatures on earth, you have to be ready for the unpredictable. Again last year, things went very wrong indeed for a fishing boat off the coast of Panama. They had caught a black marlin, a species that can weight up to 1500 pounds and reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. 1. Killer Whale If you’ve ever watched a nature documentary that’s featured Killer Whales, you’ll be all too familiar how organised and clever they can be. Pods work together to catch prey, and even tilt ice flows to trap seals. When they turn these skills towards human activity, the results can be frightening. Top 5 Ugliest Fish

05:17
Top 5 ugliest fish! Many ugly animals live in the water of the deep sea & are real beauties. These scary ocean creatures, like the blobfish, are rare. Subscribe for the latest videos: https://goo.gl/7xzjzR 5: The Lumpsucker/Henfish Found lurking at the bottom of the cool waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, and North Pacific ocean is the Lumpsucker. Although lumpsuckers are cute as babies, they tend to grow up to look something like this... Sometimes referred to as the Henfish, the Lumpsucker is typically 1-2 feet long with a asymmetrical, blob-like body with protruded eyes. And while most fish have a narrow frame, the Lumpsucker tends to be more spherical. They also have skin instead of scales along with a giant dorsal fin. Although the lumpsucker may not be a great swimmer, they have impressive endurance and can travel up to 60 miles. Their diet consists mostly of smaller fish, crustaceans, worms, and jellyfish. Fun fact: The male's stomach turns red during mating and the eggs of the female (aka roe) are a popular alternative to caviar. 4: Snailfish Snailfish, sometimes referred to as Sea Snails, pretty much look like giant tadpoles. They have a large head with small eyes and an elongated body, which resembles an eel. Like the Lumpsucker, this fish also has skin instead of scales. Surprisingly little is known about the snailfish. There are over 410 different species each being different from the rest. Some live in shallow water, while others live in the deepest parts of the ocean. Some are 2 inches long, while others are 30 inches long. Some live in warm water, others live in cold. Some are smooth, some are prickly. Some have a strict diet, others eat anything they can. You get the idea…But all of them are but pretty ugly and they don’t taste great either, fisherman consider them pests. 3: The Goblin Shark The Goblin Shark is real and it certainly lives up to it’s name. The image you are seeing is not photoshopped, the shark actually does look like the offspring of a goblin and a shark. It has a long protruded snout which contains over 50 creepy nail-like teeth and a jaw that extends outward when biting. The skin is an unappealing pinkish white, almost as if it was never fully developed. No only does the goblin shark look and sound creepy, but it acts creepy too! It’s a deep sea bottom dweller, meaning it is found in the deepest and darkest parts of the ocean, 4200 feet below, in pitch black. It’s also considered a “slow moving species”, which it basically means that it’s constantly lurking. Like other sharks, it senses its prey using Electro sensitive organs and uses its extending jaw to snap out for a quick capture. This shark is unlike any other shark, it is a unique species with a lineage dating back 125 million years ago and it’s not related to the ones on earth today. Overall very little is known about goblin shark, mostly because it’s a deep sea creature and humans rarely come in contact with them. But we don’t even know how they mate, a pregnant goblin shark has never been discovered…for all we know it spawns! 2: The Gulper Eel Number 2 on our list is the gulper eel, aka pelican eel. The fish is technically not an eel, but it’s about the closet thing that it resembles. It can be found at depths over 9000 feet below sea level or almost 2 miles deep. Even for the deep sea, this is one of the oddest creatures that has ever been discovered. The fish is dark black in color and can grow up to 31 inches long, but the most notable feature of the Gulper Eel is it’s unusually large mouth which acts as a net to capture prey. The fish also has a stomach capable of stretching which allows for it to consume prey larger than itself. The Gulper Eel is known to not be a very good swimmer, but a small luminous organ at the end of it’s tail acts as a light to help lure and capture prey. Not much is known about this strange creature due to the depths of it’s habitat, but we’re pretty confident that it looks weird. 1: The Blobfish And finally, number 1 on our list: the Blobfish. You’ve likely seen random photos online of this atrocity and may have dismissed them as being photoshopped, but the photos are real and the blob fish actually does look like this, but here’s the catch: it only looks like this out of water. The truth is, we don’t actually know what blobfish looks like in it’s natural environment because the fish is extremely rare and lives at depths over 4000 feet below. And water pressure at this depth is about 100 times stronger than that on land. Because the fish has no skeletal structure, not even teeth, the blobfish becomes heavily, perhaps even morbidly, disfigured when brought to land. Although we’re not certain what the Blobfish actually looks like in the deep sea, it’s likely safe to assume from the pictures that it’s probably still pretty ugly.

9 Kinds of Fish You Shouldn’t Eat and How to Choose a Fresh Fish?

04:01
9 Kinds of Fish You Shouldn’t Eat and How to Choose a Fresh Fish? Everyone knows that fish is a nutritious and delicious food and should be a part of our diet. However, not all fish are healthy. Although some are beneficial for our health, others can harm it. Here are 9 popular types of fish you should avoid as far as possible: 1. Imported catfish. As you probably already know, catfish can grow big in size. In order to make them bigger, fish farmers feed them with hormones, especially the catfish that come from Asia. This type of fish is very dangerous and may cause numerous health problems. If you like catfish, make sure it’s caught in wild. 2. Mackerel. Mackerel is full of mercury, a heavy metal that can cause serious diseases if not removed from the body. If you’re set on eating mackerel, make sure it’s the Atlantic variety that contains low levels of the toxin. 3. Tuna. Tuna is the favorite type of fish for millions of people, but it contains huge amount of mercury, especially the blackfin and bluefin variety. Wild tuna is really precious, but it’s expensive and rare as it is nearly extinct. Almost all the tuna on the market, regardless if it’s canned or not, comes from fish farms and is fed with hormones and antibiotics. 4. Tilapia. Tilapia is definitely among the most dangerous fish sold on the market. It is full of harmful fats and is also rich in lard, which can raise your cholesterol levels and make you more sensitive to allergens. 5. Eel. Eels are full of fats and absorb a huge amount of industrial and farm waste. The American eel contains the highest level of intoxication, while the European variety is rich in mercury. 6. Pangasius. Most of the pangasius fish found in our stores comes from the Mekong river in Vietnam. This river is among the most polluted rivers in the world. Pangasius fillets are full of polyphosphates and nitrofurazone. 7. Tilefish. Tilefish contains the highest levels of mercury from any fish and significantly raises the risk of food poisoning when ingested. 8. Sea bass. Like tilefish and tuna, the sea bass contains high level of mercury. It also resembles pangasius, so when you order sea bass fillet, you can get the much cheaper fish. 9. Dollarfish. The dollarfish contains gempylotoxin, a substance that is hard to metabolize and may cause indigestion. Luckily, grilling or frying the fish can reduce the levels of the toxin. How to choose fresh fish? You can easily tell fresh from bad fish from the shiny scales and clear eyes. Just take a piece in your hands and check the tail. If the fish is spoiled, the tail will be lowered. Gray grills and dry fins also indicate that the fish is bad. When buying live fish, you should get them from a tank with clear water and pick the fish close to the bottom. If you’re into fishing, make sure to fish in waters that aren’t contaminated with mercury. Many people love salmon, but aren’t even aware of the quality of salmon fillets served to them. The piece of salmon you ordered should have chunks and white threads. If the meat has bright spots on the skin, the fish has been caught during its spawning season and won’t taste that much good. https://youtu.be/DBstpE4RnJE About HomeYog: HomeYog is here to help you live life to the fullest. Top 10 Most Dangerous Fish In the World | You've ever seen before

04:53
10. Electric Eel You must have heard about them in your science class when in school and many of you had been wondering about their existence. Well, here you go they actually exist and not only exist but, true to their name, they exhibit powerful electric shock; nature has gifted the respective creature with the ability for its survival. As per the resources, the electric eel produces up to 600 volts of electric current, which is enough to kill a man or any other living being. 9. Tiger Fish Apparent from its name, Tiger Fish is one of the most dangerous predator fishes with razor sharp teeth and ability of a true fighter and hunter. The fish is commonly found in the Congo River and Lake Tanganiyaka, situated in Africa; the tiger fish attacks in packs and feasts on large animals. Two of the most widely known tiger fishes are the goliath tiger fish and the tiger fish both of which are the largest among their specie. 8. Goonch Fish Goonch fish is found in the Kali River running between India and Nepal; the fish is a member of catfish family with dangerously sharp teeth and over seven feet long structure. What makes Goonch fish even more dangerous and horrific is its awareness of the taste of human flesh. The alarming number of disappearances and drowning in the Kali River is attributed to this giant man-eater. 7. The Stonefish The Stonefish is not only one of the most dangerous fish but it is also one of the weirdest sea creatures; Stonefish is an unnoticeable fish as it resembles the surface of a stone and could not be recognised unless you have stepped on it. Stonefish is known to be the most poisonous fish on the living earth, the pain caused by its sting is incurable and the victim has to suffer for hours. There is a slight discrepancy in the belief that whether or whether not a Stonefish kills though some believe that its only the pain while others argue that it’s poison can kill within two hours. 6. The Snakehead Fish The Snakehead fish is the original inhabitant of China, Russia and Korea while it can find its way to other countries and their ecosystems too. Once it finds its way to any lake or pond, it eats up all the living beings in the water, after ‘cleaning’ the water, it gets out to the land and eats whatever comes its way until it reaches another water reservoir. 5. Vandellia Cirrhosa The fish is the true and exact embodiment of the notion ‘Size doesn’t matter’, the fish is about 2.5 cm long and 3.5 mm wide and is also known as ‘the toothpick fish’. The fish causes relatively huge, and we really mean huge, calamity to man; Vandellia is attracted to blood and urine as it extracts its main source of food from it, which is urea. The fish easily passes through anus, vagina or penis and starts sucking blood causing extreme pain to the victim. In many cases amputation is the only remedy to it, which is even more horrifying. 4. Piranha Remember the movie named Piranha having small fishes attacking the beachers? Yes we are talking about the same fish; Piranha’s origination is in South America and Brazil. Similar to Vandellia Cirrhosa, Piranha is small in size with greater extent of danger, it is known for its noxious bite force as it bites its prey to bones in no time. 3. Pufferfish Pufferfish is ranked amongst the topmost poisonous fish found till the present date; the fish has poison reservoir of tetrodotoxin in its liver, ovaries, intestines and skin. The tetrodotoxin poison affects the brain and may cause weakness, paralysis and death even at a minimum consumption of the poison, which makes it a highly dangerous fish. 2. Box Jellyfish Box Jellyfish is different in a number of ways than their other family members as they have more developed nervous system and has real pair of eyes. It has long flagella and deadly poison, according to resources the Box Jellyfish poison can cause death within few minutes while the marks left by its sting is for eternity. Its poison attacks the cardiac activity as the victim experiences extremely low heart rate. 1. Payara – The Most Dangerous Fish Payara is also known as the ‘vampire fish’ and are even more dangerous and vicious predators than the Piranhas. It may grow up to four feet and are absolutely capable of preying fishes nearly of their own size. Apart from having sharp teeth and two front outer tusks, Payara is the only fish that is capable of devouring Piranhas, which marks their deadliness higher than Piranhas.

How to BBQ whole sea bass (or any fish)

02:03
Whole fish on the BBQ are great. In this video I have wrapped the fish in a foil parcel to retain the juices from the fish and the lemon inserted in to the cavity. Cooked over hot charcoal and grilled for about 18 minutes. Fish cooked like this stays together and is absolutely delicious.
