A Japanese Method to Develop Creativity in Kids

Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Japanese people are known for their intelligence, politeness, and wellness. Why is this nation so unique and different from the rest of the world? It seems we’ve found the answer – they have an incredibly cool education system and unique teaching methods! Watch till the end – there is a small but brilliant bonus for you. Let’s start with a unique Japanese method in the schools for developing creativity in kids. We believe that the whole world needs to adopt! It’s called “Nameless paints.” Japanese designers named Yusuke Imai and Ayami Moteki created an unusual set to teach kids colors and painting. This fantastic set won the 2012 Kokuyo Design Award. Let’s see how it works. “Nameless paints” includes ten tubes that don’t have color names such as “yellow,” “blue,” or “green.” Instead, there are only spots of a particular color or colors on each tube. As you can see, the spots are also different sizes. The designers’ aim is to change the way kids think and learn. They want children to understand what shade they will get if they mix certain colors. For instance, a child looks at the tube with two spots: pink and blue. He doesn’t know what color hides inside. He squeezes the tube and gets… purple color! So, as a result, the kid learns that the same amounts of pink and blue paints create purple. Here’s another example – a tube with a big blue spot and small pink one. It means if you mix a small amount of the pink color and a large amount of the blue color, you’ll get dark-blue color. Interesting, right? As you can see, each tube hides a particular color inside. Pink, yellow, blue, purple, red, dark green, dark blue, orange, light-green, and black. However, to get one of these shades, the child should think about which colors create it. As a result, they learn how to create new colors and how to mix them. It’s an easy and fun way to understand the color theory. Recent studies have shown that free thinking is an attribute that a person can acquire over time, and the schools play the most important part in developing creativity. Now, here’s the bonus – 10 brilliant features of the Japanese education system the whole world needs to adopt. The success of the Japanese culture is very simple: they put a lot of effort and time in the education system trying to make it not only useful but also fun. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

Things A New Mom Should Know About Giving Birth

10:07
Here are the things a new mom needs to know about giving birth. #NewMom #Childbirth #GivingBirth Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music Summary: Giving birth is one of the most natural things any woman could experience. However, some new pregnant mothers might not know about all the different bells and whistles that come with giving birth. Some of which, are unfortunately very gross. Let’s face it. Childbirth is beautiful, but it’s also super gross. It’s so primal that any and all bodily functions may happen at once. Sometimes, something will happen when you least expect it. The 8 gross things in this video can occur during the birthing process. Anyone who is a mother can probably relate to any of these things. Fortunately, doctors and nurses are prepared for any and all of these events. Spending Quality Time With Your Kids: It’s not enough to just spend time with your children, you need to be with them completely. No Xbox and no IPhone can ever replace the bond a parent has with their child. By communicating with them, listening to them and doing things they enjoy doing, they will learn how to be a considerate and caring person. When you’re communicating with your child and listening to their dilemmas, it’s very important not to take sides on a situation. You want your child to learn from their experiences through their own perspective. Be A Strong Role Model: At a younger age, children see and listen to everything around them, so it’s imperative that your kids need to see a strong leader in their life. You need to practice all the characteristics that you are implementing to your children. That means fairness, politeness and honesty need to be shown not just taught. Your child will look up to you, but only if you earn their respect. By doing this you are showing your child that you are as human as you can possibly be, and that comes with flaws. Teach Your Kids to Care for Others: To help build your child’s future, you need to teach them how to care for others. It’s important that they see and hear that caring for others is a top priority. Teach them to do the right thing, even if it’s hard and may not seem like the right thing at the time. As often as you can, try to remind them that no matter how old they get, there will always be people around them that will need their help even if they don’t know it yet. Encourage Appreciation and Gratitude: Try not to spoil your child, because a child that acknowledges the roles of others in their life is very healthy. People who practice gratitude on a regular basis are more likely to be generous, helpful, compassionate, and forgiving. Paint the Bigger Picture: It’s a known fact that children empathize with their small circle of family and friends. But the real challenge is to get kids to think of the bigger circle. This includes new kids in the classroom, other people in the school, and a person who doesn’t speak the same language as them. They need to know that how they act can reflect others around them, not just their friends and family. Those are the top elements that a parent needs to do when raising their children. Read on to find out what other elements also play a factor when raising children. Support the Shy Ones: It’s a very uncommon trait that many children have, especially when they are very young. The key to supporting them is to try and get them out of their comfort zone without changing their nature. Live in the Moment: As parents, it’s natural to think and plan for the future, but kids don’t have that same mentality, they live in the “now.” In order to bond and understand them, you have to try and live in the moment with them, even if you don’t agree with the situation. help your child understand and learn about emotions. Slow Things Down: Working and taking care of your family can be a fast-paced job. Try and slow down your schedule and make time to spend with your children with no interruptions. Whether it’s a trip to the grocery store with them or something simple as a bedtime routine, you need that alone time with them. Keep Calm: It can be tough sometimes, but try not to yell at your children. No one said you can’t raise your voice, but you want to teach them that speaking to someone, even when you’re angry, should never result to yelling at them and disrespecting them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Bestie : https://goo.gl/tUqro6 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bestieinc/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.bestie.com/

The Impact of Early Emotional Neglect

04:44
A lot of our adult problems come down to varieties of emotional neglect suffered in childhood. In this film, we look at one of the most famous experiments in the history of psychology, The Still Face Experiment, devised by Professor Ed Tronick - which gives us an insight into the vulnerability of, and need for love in young children. We may be depressed, anxious or very difficult around sex and relationships. We might in certain moods ask ourselves where the difficulties came from. It’s a continually weird, provocative and yet – in The School of Life’s view – extremely accurate answer that the damage comes, almost always, from childhood, especially early childhood.” You can read more on this and other subjects on our blog, here: https://bit.ly/2LvbX1a MORE SCHOOL OF LIFE Visit us in person at our London HQ: https://bit.ly/2Lx7gnM Watch more films on SELF in our playlist: http://bit.ly/TSOLself You can submit translations and transcripts on all of our videos here: https://www.youtube.com/timedtext_cs_panel?c=UC7IcJI8PUf5Z3zKxnZvTBog&tab=2 Find out how more here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6054623?hl=en-GB SOCIAL MEDIA Feel free to follow us at the links below: Download our App: https://bit.ly/2Aib6f4 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theschooloflifelondon/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheSchoolOfLife Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theschooloflifelondon/ CREDITS Produced in collaboration with: Matt Knott https://www.curtisbrown.co.uk/client/matthew-hammett-knott #TheSchoolOfLife #Psychology #Love

6 Parenting Mistakes That Might Ruin Child's Health

08:22
Every parent experienced that sinking feeling of fear for the child. Especially when you're a new mom or dad, everything suddenly changes and simple objects and things become not as safe as they seemed before. But still, childhood should be a wonderful period of any person's life, and parents are ready to do anything to make their child smile and laugh. However, there are some things you may not know about that are not only not that good for your baby but can even be possibly dangerous. So, we found six things that do more harm than good to your children. Believe us; it wouldn't hurt for any parent to know this information. For example, did you know that something as simple as seat belt may be quite unsafe? Watch our new video to find out more! TIMESTAMPS Baby walkers and jumperoo 1:03 Juice and milk 2:20 Bright toys 3:49 Warm clothes 4:54 Electronics and gadgets 5:50 Seatbelts 7:10 SUMMARY - Surprisingly enough, baby walkers and jumperoo are already banned in Canada. Actually, baby injury rate from baby walkers and jumperoos is unbelievably high – there's been over 8,000 cases a year in the USA alone! Plus, they can lead to all sorts of health problems, such as uneven muscle strengthening or deformation of feet and legs. - After drinking juice, your child would be even more thirsty, because of the amount of sugar it contains. Instead, pediatricians often advise giving fresh juices to children over the age of one year. But in the case of pasteurized fruit juices, it's better to replace them with fresh fruit completely. - Unnatural colors, electronic sounds, and many details in toys produce a harmful effect on creative thinking development and even influence personality formation. Unfortunately, aggressive behavior, groundless fears, and teenage depression are all possible outcomes. - The younger babies are, the worse their thermoregulation is, meaning that they are exposed to both overheating and supercooling. Overheating leads to neuroticism and may result in heatstroke. Simply speaking, too much warm clothing prevents the body from developing natural defense reactions toward weather changes, which may result in cold-related diseases and low immunity. - The blue light from LED screens causes retinal damage, which may lead to macular degeneration. This may result in cataracts and even blindness! Some parents may not realize it, but when your kid uses smartphones and tablets, he or she is deprived of the real world. Fine motor and sensory skills are not being developed, and there is no live interaction. - Surprisingly enough, another thing that may cause a possible danger for your baby is a seat belt. This applies to those women, who are pregnant. Wearing the lap portion of a seat belt over your belly when you’re pregnant might cause an injury to the baby in case of an accident. The best thing to do is to not drive at all unless you must: the steering wheel is also far too close to the belly, which might prove fatal even in a minor accident. What Is an Emotionally-healthy Childhood?

09:01
We know how many adult problems come down to issues from childhood - but what exactly is that wondrous, hugely desirable thing, an emotionally-healthy childhood? This film identifies the central themes of the sort of childhood that can leave us balanced, happy and sane. For gifts and more from The School of Life, visit our online shop: https://goo.gl/QU6qRz Join our mailing list: http://bit.ly/2e0TQNJ Our website has classes, articles and products to help you think and grow: https://goo.gl/D2EhsZ Download our App: https://goo.gl/ogsuJi FURTHER READING “We can sometimes be so modest about our power to know what might be good for others or ourselves, we forget it might be possible to hazard a few generalisations about what constitutes an emotionally healthy childhood. It can’t be pure idiosyncracy or good luck; there are distinct themes and goals to identify. With a map of optimal development in mind, we could more clearly appreciate where dislocation begins, what we have to be grateful for and what there is to regret. At a collective level, we would have more of a sense of what we need to achieve to generate a more emotionally-privileged – and therefore slightly saner – world…” You can read more on this and other subjects on our blog, here: https://goo.gl/XdyKfT MORE SCHOOL OF LIFE Visit us in person at our London HQ: https://goo.gl/7xDuxQ Watch more films on SELF in our playlist: http://bit.ly/TSOLself You can submit translations and transcripts on all of our videos here: https://www.youtube.com/timedtext_cs_panel?c=UC7IcJI8PUf5Z3zKxnZvTBog&tab=2 Find out how more here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6054623?hl=en-GB SOCIAL MEDIA Feel free to follow us at the links below: Download our App: https://goo.gl/ogsuJi Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theschooloflifelondon/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheSchoolOfLife Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theschooloflifelondon/ CREDITS Produced in collaboration with: Gemma Green-Hope http://www.gemmagreenhope.com/ #TheSchoolOfLife

16 Questions That Could Save Your Child’s Life

10:01
How to protect your child from kidnapping? Essential safety skills for kids: 10 important rules every child should know and follow. Show this video to your little one! It is absolutely unacceptable to take food, toys or any other things from strangers. You have to teach your child that they can only occasionally take something from your neighbors who you know very well but nobody else. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and your child must know this from a very early age. Children must know that their parents are people who they can trust and if anything bad happens, they can come to them for help. If you find out that your child is threatened on the Internet, you should tell your child that there is no way the bad guys can get to him. After that call the helpline and explain the situation. The will take the necessary measures. TIMESTAMPS - What should you do if your parents are away and someone is trying to open the door? 1:15 - Should you take candy from a stranger? 2:02 - What should you do if the power socket starts steaming and there’s no one else at home? 2:33 - An adult stranger is asking for help. Should you help them? 3:06 - What should you do if you’re attacked by a pack of dogs? 3:35 - You’ve just met someone you age. Should you go to their place if invited? 4:06 - What should you do if you smell gas at home? 4:43 - If you are waiting for an elevator and some strangers come up, should you go with them? 5:02 - What should you do if you notice you’re being watched? 5:32 - If you are home alone, who can you let in? 6:02 - What if a stranger grabs you and doesn’t let you go? 6:27 - What if you find yourself in a large crowd of people? 6:57 - What if you’re on the street during a large thunderstorm? 7:27 - What should you do if someone is threatening you or your family on the Internet? 8:10 - Your friends want you to play with them on the frozen river. Will you go? 8:42 - Can you take medicine from the first aid kit if your parents are away? 9:17 SUMMARY - It takes a minute to call the parents and tell them about what’s going on, and then there are three people (the kid and two parents) informing others instead of only one frightened child. Besides, parents can try to calm their child down and remind them how to call the rescue service and what to tell them. - It is absolutely unacceptable to take food, toys or any other things from strangers. You have to teach your child that they can only occasionally take something from your neighbors who you know very well but nobody else. - Your child should know that if there is a risk of fire in your house or apartment, they must never try to put out the fire on their own. The first thing they should do is get out of the building as fast as possible. - If someone is asking your child for help, they should just clearly say «no» and leave. Don’t get us wrong: helping people is nice, but only when they really need help. - Fast movement, loud noises can only provoke animals to attack. If the kid has a school bag, they should throw it aside to try to divert the dogs’ attention. - No matter how friendly somebody seems, they can turn out to be anyone. Your kid should understand this: there is nothing wrong with refusing an invitation. - What should you do if you smell gas at home? Walking outside and calling the fire brigade is the best course of action. - Being locked in a tight space with a group of strangers can be extremely dangerous. There is nowhere to run if something bad happens. So, children should turn down such offers. - If a child notices that someone seems to be following them, they should head straight to any public place: a supermarket, a park, a hair salon. - No one the child doesn’t know. Whoever they seem to be, whatever they look like, children should never open the door to strangers. - There is nothing wrong about shouting and fighting. - Teach your children to avoid crowds. If this happened anyway, they should know that moving against the crowd is the worst thing they can do. - Finding a safe place should be the top priority. Any place will do: a shop, a mall, an entrance hall. - Children must know that their parents are people who they can trust and if anything bad happens, they can come to them for help. - Playing hockey, skating or any other activities that involve ice should be practiced only in specially designed places. - All medicine that you have at home should be hidden in a place where your child can’t get to it. In 1939 This 5 Year Old Became The Youngest Mother Ever, And Even Now She Won’t Reveal The Truth

06:23
Please do not forget to visit the site http://scribol.com ************************************************************** Sometimes the most extraordinary events occur in the humblest of circumstances. Born in 1933, Lina Medina was brought up in the Peruvian village of Ticrapo. The town, perched at an altitude of more than 7,000 feet above sea level, was one of Peru’s poorest neighborhoods. Little is known of Lina’s very early years, but it’s easy to imagine that life in such a rural and impoverished area would have been basic. Apparently, she had eight siblings, and they were all raised by their mother, Victoria Losea, and father, Tiburelo Medina, who was a silversmith. Day-to-day life for the South American family would have probably been pretty uneventful. However, when Lina was five, something happened that would change her life – and her family’s – forever. Not only that, but it would shock the entire world. Concern for Lina started when the little girl began developing a bloated abdomen. Moreover, the swelling didn’t go down; on the contrary, it seemed to get bigger and bigger. Naturally very worried, Lina’s mother and father suspected that their daughter could be suffering from a tumor. But before heading to the hospital, they sought help from a curious source. The family reportedly asked local shamans to see if they could cure Lina of her problem, and the shamans apparently believed that her strange growth could be down to her being possessed. So Lina’s father, Tiburelo, granted permission for them to exorcise his daughter in a bid to remove “the snake under her belly.” Whether or not this “exorcism” actually took place is unknown. If it did, it clearly didn’t work – but what happened next is known to have occurred. With Lina’s ever-growing bump still present, it was time to see some professionals. According to a 1939 article in TIME magazine, one of the shamans was with the Medina family when they finally took the girl to hospital in Pisco, Peru. And apparently, the female shaman begged a Dr. Geraldo Lozada, one of the hospital’s surgeons, to “exorcise” the “possessed” girl himself. Clearly, though, a medical professional like Dr. Lozada was not going to do such a thing. Instead, he did what any regular doctor would do and gave the girl an examination. Yet what he discovered would surely have come as a complete shock. ************************************************************** ►You can support the channel: PATREON https://goo.gl/KtaKrp ►Image credits: Image: via Rare Historical Photos Image: YouTube/Jhordan Muñoz ►web: http://watchjojo.com ► SUBSCRIBE US: https://goo.gl/Z4nZcg ► Follow Us On Google Plus: https://goo.gl/JYf9Rr ► Like us Our Facebook Page: https://goo.gl/C5Rv92 ► Follow On Twitter: https://goo.gl/PZ2U1R ►For more articles visit: http://scribol.com ►Article link: https://goo.gl/Ak6YvP #watchjojo

School Lunches You've Probably Never Heard About

08:14
Here’s what school lunches around the world look like. Meals for kids in different countries are truly amazing and surprising! Every country has its standards for school meals. Some schools offer convenience food and snacks for lunch, and some cook set meals for students. What do you think the most popular ingredients of school lunches are? Well, how about octopus, kimchi, or chili? Are you curious what kids eat in South Korea? What they prefer in Turkey? Some of those lunches are quite unusual. Watch and try to find your childhood meals! TIMESTAMPS South Korea 0:41 Japan 1:23 Turkey 1:55 Thailand 2:28 France 2:59 Finland 3:28 Russia 4:08 Hungary 4:34 Israel 4:53 Colombia 5:25 Italy 5:55 Australia 6:37 Chile 7:11 SUMMARY - The system of planning school meals in South Korea is one of the best in the world. Lunches are served on special trays. The two biggest sections of the tray are usually for soup and rice. Smaller sections are for salads, seafood, veggies, and fruit. - Japanese school lunches are almost the same as the South Korean ones: hot soup, rice, poultry or fish, salad, and milk. Students are not allowed to bring their food with them until they reach high school. - It's interesting that, though children in Turkey have 1 hour for lunch, cafeterias are rare in this country. So students either go home for lunch (which might be hard to do if you live on the other side of the town!) or take food from home. - Students in Thailand don't eat in the canteen, just like their "colleagues" from Japan. They are usually given soup, pork in sweet and sour sauce, rice, and a pudding wrapped in banana leaves. - Typical lunch served in the west of France looks very healthy. It is fish, spinach, potatoes, cheese, and bread. It is quite big as the French consider lunch the main meal of the day. - Finland takes school lunches very seriously. Every student is offered snacks during the morning and evening classes, as well as lunch. Children eat their lunches in a canteen where they can choose whatever they want from a large variety of dishes. - In Russia, students can have free breakfast from 9 a.m. till 12 p.m. Lunches after 12 p.m. are paid. Children sometimes have lunch at home if they live near the school. If it is a school lunch, it is usually soup, fish or meat with a side dish of rice or buckwheat, and compote. - Hungary is famous for its big portions in restaurants and cafes. Same goes for school lunches. Children have several courses, with, for example, noodle soup, baked beans with chicken, and nuts for dessert. - Israel schools have the policy of a healthy diet. The government banned fatty and sugary things from school lunches. But the thing is that children mostly bring their meals from home. - 60-70% of children in Colombia are given free nutritious lunches. Students of state schools eat one hot meal a day. Their typical meal consists of soup, rice or pasta, salad, meat, and fruit juice. - Before lunch, in the morning, children get snacks (crackers, breadsticks, fresh fruit, or homemade cookies). For lunch they get two courses: a first course is often pasta or rice with seafood or vegetables, a second course - fish, meat, or cheese. - Authorities in Australia fight against children's obesity. That's why products rich in sugar, salt, and fat are forced out of school menu. But you can find their healthier replacements such as sandwiches, sushi, corn and fruit available at any time. - Students in Chile have nice and varied lunches. An example can be a meal with rice, beef roll, French fries, salad, avocado, orange juice, and fruit in the sauce for dessert. 9 Surprising Facts About Royal Nannies

09:27
What skills must a nanny have to work for the British royal family? Excellent self-defense and first aid skills, extreme driving, and good knowledge of psychology. If you want to be a royal babysitter, loving kids is a good start, but it’s not enough. The British royal family demands that their nannies receive a prestigious education at none other than Norland College. This college was founded in 1892 by Emily Ward, and it provides exceptional childcare training. An enrollee should be in good physical condition, speak English very well, and have a perfect and unblemished background. Taking care of kids isn't the only thing girls can learn there. TIMESTAMPS: A royal nanny must have a good education 0:47 A royal nanny must practice with a robot baby 1:48 A royal nanny must be able to protect a baby 2:41 A royal nanny must have excellent driving skills 3:33 A royal nanny has to watch all the royal kids 4:16 A royal nanny becomes part of the royal family 5:05 A royal nanny must be able to keep secrets 6:08 A royal nanny can never spank a child 7:01 A royal nanny should never try to replace the parents 7:53 #royalfamily #royalkids #royalnannies Preview photo credit: Prince George with his nanny Maria Borrallo while they leave a central London park on a Sunday afternoon July 12, 2015: By Ben Cawthra/Sipa USA/East News, https://www.eastnews.ru/pictures/picture/id/39158149/i/0/t/0 Animation is created by Bright Side. Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - No student is allowed to take care of a real baby until she has shown her practical skills and high professionalism — while looking after an electronic baby. - The list of a royal nanny's responsibilities is quite long, and protecting herself and the baby in case of an emergency is one of her primary tasks. The royal babysitter may look graceful, elegant, and feminine, but she will take immediate action in dangerous situations. - A royal nanny has to be one of the best drivers out there. They are taught extreme driving at Norland College so that children will be completely safe with their nanny in any possible situation. - Even though Prince William, the heir to the throne, and his gorgeous wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, could have hired many nannies to take care of their 3 beautiful kids, they have only one! Her name is Maria Borrallo. - A royal nanny isn't perceived merely as a hired worker by the royal family. For them, she is another family member! She has to live in the palace (to be near the kids) and escort them everywhere during celebrations and traveling. - You won't find a royal nanny on any social media. You won't read an interview with her in a magazine or see her dishing on her employers on TV either. - Being violent to a child is wrong, whether you're a nanny or a parent, so it's no surprise that this rule made it onto the list. Norland College promises that none of its alumni will ever impose any corporal punishment on a child. - Every child has a special place in their heart for their nanny. But no matter how amazing and incredible she is, she can never take the parents' place. Abkhazia or Georgia? The effects of war: Tskaltubo, the city of refugees. In 1992, war broke out in Abkhazia. Ethnic cleansing against the Georgian people followed. Thousands were moved to Tskaltubo, a city humming with refugee stories. We’ve come to listen. ❤ SUBSCRIBE & CLICK the 🔔 http://bit.ly/KissFromTheWorld ★ W O R K W I T H U S ★ + SERVICES: https://www.kissfromtheworld.com/maga... + BUSINESS INQUIRIES: [email protected] + Official Site: https://www.kissfromtheworld.com + Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kissfromthe... ★ A B O U T U S ★ Hey everyone! We shape stories leveraging our key principles: make communications direct, honest, relevant and factual. + BUSINESS INQUIRIES: [email protected] ★ T R A I L E R ★ In August 1992, simmering ethnic tensions in Georgia's Abkhazia region exploded into a 13-month war between Georgian government forces, Abkhaz separatist forces, Soviet Russian government forces and North Caucasian militants. Ethnic Georgians in Abkhazia fought largely on the side of Georgian government forces, whereas the area’s ethnic Armenians and Russians mostly fought for the Abkhazians. Separatists were supported by thousands of North Caucasus and Cossack militants and Russian Federation forces stationed nearby. Significant human rights violations were reported on all sides, peaking with the Abkhaz capture of Sukhumi on September 27, 1993 and the large-scale ethnic cleansing against the ethnic Georgian population that followed. Women were raped, some more than a hundred times. Their sons and husbands were beaten and tortured in front of them. Russians and separatists played football with the heads of Georgians. 13,000-20,000 ethnic Georgians and some 3,000 Abkhaz were reported killed, over 250,000 Georgians became refugees, and 2,000 are missing. We are in Tskaltubo, Georgia. Tskaltubo is a former resort, built by Stalin due to its thermal waters. It was very popular in the Communist period. It was abandoned after the collapse of the Soviet Union. During the war, some 25,000 refugees were moved to Tskaltubo and housed in empty hotels. Most lived here until 1992. Tskaltubo became a city of refugees. We are at Hotel Samgurali, one of the most run-down and problematic housing locations. We’ll go inside and try to talk to some of the refugees who have lived here for 22 years. I am Ludmila Chikovani from Gagra in the Abkhazia region. I have been a refugee since 1992 because of the war in Abkhazia and now I live here in Tskaltubo. My family – my husband and two sons – fought in the war in that period. During the war, my husband died. My son took his dead body from Abkhazia to here. I live here in very poor conditions. I’m alone here. The government gives me 45 Lari in refugee support each month. But it’s not enough. Also every month as compensation I get 500 Lari. This is my house – welcome. This is an everyday room, for the TV. It’s where I spend most of the day. This is my kitchen. The toilet and bathroom is in that corner. This is my bedroom. This is an old building and the water is damaging it. We have asked several times for it to be repaired but we don’t receive any response. Hello, I am Yadon Nijeradze. I can’t speak a lot… I am from a village near Gudauta. Because of the war, I left my home and moved here, where I live in poor conditions. It makes me a little bit nervous to talk about my hometown. Life is really hard for me. I am Lili Urashvili. I am from the Tsageri district, and I married in Gagra in the Abkhazia region. I moved here because of the war. I can’t remember what year it was, but I’ve been here for 22 years. I have four children, 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. So the family is very big. I am 85 years old. My life is just problems, problems and it’s poor. My name is Waja Tapataze. I was born in 1946. I was displaced from Abkhazia in 1993 after the war. It was September. I was working in Sukhumi, in a factory. I’ve lived here since 1993. ★ W H E R E W E S H O T T H E V I D E O ★ "Elea – Velia: an ancient city of Magna Graecia". 14 Weeks - Non-Vegan Cravings

So a lot of people are going to instantly dislike this video, but I think those people should try and give it a fair shake anyways. You can even set the viewing speed to "2x" so that if you feel it's a waste of your time at the end, you've only wasted half the time you would have at regular speed. This video means a lot to me though. Not harming other mothers means a lot to me. Trying to fix the mistakes that I've made in the past means a lot to me. Being a voice for the voiceless means a lot to me. All of these things mean so much to me that despite the fact that people might say nasty things in the comment section without watching this video, I'm still going to post it in case I can enlighten even one person into living the kind of life they know they want to. xoxo, t. P.S. I'm all for informational debate, and answering any questions, no matter how small, large, or seemingly unimportant. But please do not send me articles to silly advertisements and paid articles in online magazines about fitness claiming that veganism is unhealthy, or anything like that. I am all for scholarly reading, but I'm not going to have a debate over magazine articles and paid ads. 7 Facts About Coffee You Probably Didn’t Know

06:48
How to drink coffee the right way and healthy? Why is coffee good for you? Here are 7 surprising reasons why you need to get yourself a cup of coffee right now. TIMESTAMPS Coffee boosts brainpower 0:40 Coffee increases blood pressure 1:46 Coffee makes your immune system stronger 2:24 Coffee relieves a headache 3:16 Coffee reduces stress 3:51 Coffee improves your memory 4:40 Coffee helps you lose weight 5:30 An amazing coffee cocktail recipe 6:06 SUMMARY - Coffee with sugar can turn you into a little genius for a while because the combination of caffeine and glucose activates certain sectors of your brain. The caffeine in coffee acts as a mild stimulant to the central nervous system. This neuronal activity triggers the release of the adrenaline, that will affect your body in several ways: your heartbeat increases, blood pressure rises, breathing tubes open up, sugar is released into the bloodstream for extra energy. - You might want to keep off the coffee if you are going to have a blood pressure test within the next 2 days. If you have high blood pressure, ask your doctor whether you should limit or stop drinking caffeinated beverages. - Coffee is known for its energy-boosting caffeine effect -- is an abundant source of nutrients and healthful chemicals that can aid your immune system. According to scientists from several countries, coffee reduces the risk of premature death. This is because coffee alters your immune system, making it stronger and healthier. - The caffeine can cure headaches and migraines. People are aware that caffeine is found in coffee, tea, soft drinks and chocolate, but may not know that caffeine is also contained in a variety of over the counter medications. That’s why it’s an ingredient in a lot of traditional pain relievers. - Coffee acts well as an anti-stress substance due to the release of dopamine and serotonin, which "trigger" a good mood. One cup, or even just the smell of coffee, can calm your nerves. This could explain a lower risk of depression among coffee drinkers. - Coffee can positively affect mood, enhance alertness, and memory abilities. The stimulators and neuro-mediators obtained from coffee not only boost your mood and productivity but also improve your memory. Of course, this only works with your short-term memory. - Coffee can keep off and help you lose excess weight. It can temporarily suppress your appetite and may stimulate minimal calorie burning. When the level of the hormone leptin is low, your body starts storing fat, and you gain weight. Coffee, however, increases the hormone levels in your body.
