Is Your Code Parallel-Ready?

01:05:04
The Stream API is set to become as important in the future as the Collections API is today. But to make good use of it, we have to understand the basis of its design in the idea of parallel-ready code, how that idea leads to the new idioms of the Stream API, and how Collectors square the circle that combines parallel execution with mutable data structures. This presentation ends with a practical payoff—it takes some typical collection processing problems and shows systematically how to choose the best stream processing solution for each. Thinking in Parallel

01:02:25
The Java 8 Streams library makes it easy to run code in parallel. A common error is code that works when run sequentially but that misbehaves when run in parallel. This is often caused by programmers who are stuck in a mode of imperative, left-to-right thinking. This leads to an iterative style in which data is mutated and where the next result depends on the result of the previous computation, creating barriers to parallel computation. This presentation covers an alternative programming technique called array programming, where operations are applied on data aggregates instead of individual elements. It also includes examples and demonstrations that illustrate these techniques and how they lead to easier-to-understand, parallel-ready code.

Sometimes Oracle can give unexpected exceptions. This often happens when working with dates stored as strings. In this video, Chris investigates why adding an index to a varchar storing dates could cause a query to fail. He explains why this happens. Then he shows workaround to avoid this. Inside the SQL Server Query Optimizer

59:29
So how does SQL Server pick which plan to run? If you've ever wanted to get a better understanding of how the Query Optimizer works, this is the talk to attend. Come listen to a member of the Query Processor development team explain how a query goes from SQL to the final plan. This talk will cover conceptual topics like how query trees are built and how the optimizer stores all of the alternatives it is considering. Additionally, the talk will examine examples in areas including index matching, parallel query generation, and update processing so that you can apply these concepts to better debug your own queries using the same techniques. God Eater 2 Rage Burst Trial Edition Gameplay Story Training PS4 l PSP VITA

08:37
God Eater 2 Rage Burst Trial Edition Gameplay Story Training PS4 l PSP VITA God Eater 2 Rage Burst (ゴッドイーター2 レイジバースト) is the 26, 2015. Like God Eater Burst, Rage Burst has been annouced for PS VITA and PS4, God Eater 2: Rage Burst is a Role-Playing game, developed and published by Bandai Namco Games The story of God Eater 2 will be playable in the game in a "condensed" form. The story will show the continuation of the fate of Julius Visconti and the other members of Blood, implied to include Romeo based on some trailers. The Protagonist, the acting leader of Blood, is called in due to the sudden expansion of the Helix Tree, and is sent to investigate with the help of a new character, Livie, a Variant Scythe user who is taken on a regular basis to hunt turned God Eaters, and is strangely able to wield Julius' God Arc as well. Returning characters shown include Soma, Sakaki, Fran, as well as a new Fenrir director. Although no signs of Julius have been detected in the Helix Tree, Livie implies there is reason to believe he is alive. In the depths, the protagonist and Livie are shown to encounter the new Aragami, Chrome Gawain. In a defending segment, a new variant of the Zygote is shown Silky?. The Protagonist is shown to exclusively use the power of Blood Rage while inside the Helix using some voiced line, and Julius is shown fighting Caligula Xeno barefisted at first and then with a generated oracle blade weapon. There will be a new Player System called either "Blood Rage" or "Rage Burst" in which a player can enter a heightened state of power by first completing certain requirements during the mission. During Rage Burst, the player's HP and ST bars will not decrease and one can use dash/step countlessly. A gauge that is maintained through missions is on the bottom left corner. It is ready when the player deals enough damage and can be pulled down to activate. Upon doing so, the player is able to select an Aragami on the field to set an oath to the God Arc, and then to fulfill conditions of choice (such as dealing a specific amount of damage or breaking a part) within Each oath and condition adds a stacking percentage blade damage bonus to the player while Rage Burst is in effect, next mission in singleplayer mode, allowing you to save it for stronger Aragami. In multiplayer mode, the bar always starts of at 75%. Burst Duration Up or Burst related skills Rage Burst in any way. Damage new Aragami will be the Orochi, which resembles a multi-headed Chrome Gawain. Yet another new Aragamis is the Silky, a flying creature that resembles the human form of a Zygote, in a larger scale. Even more Aragami have been shown, all of them originating from Dr. Rachel Claudius' experiments. They are the Rasetsu Kongou, the Mukuro Kyuubi, and the Caligula Xeno. They are all outfitted with a ghost/demon mask, and they all have some God Arc part attached to their bodies. Orochi is a special aragami only available for those who pre-ordered the game. Pre-order exclusives also includes new "Forbidden Blood-Arts". A new weapon type will be added to the available 5 blade types. It will be called the "Variant Scythe." It is a long reach blade that is able to, at first, deal multiple hits and has a 4 hit combo. The 3rd strike attacks twice. The choice of the combo number could be a reference to the number 4 which has connections to death. There will be new Blood Arts as shown in the TGS. One of them will be the Charge Slice. New BGM and field for the Chrome Gawain and Helix Tree respectively. The sequel main story to the original GE2's main story will be continued; this time it will show the continuation of the fate of Julius Visconti and the other members of Blood. New characters will appear in accordance to the new story content. One of these new characters joins the Blood ranks and is called Livie, e new Variant Scythe weapon.with Julius' God Arc.The story of Rage Burst the first Arc of God Eater 2, Arc of God Eater story. VLOG: Twin Flames, Jumping Timelines, Trust the Nudges- Surrendering to the Divine Plan

13:32
Everything has shifted rapidly in a positive direction and it's very clear that I'm on a new and much faster timeline to union with my divine masculine. Of course I have to move and leave probably the most beautiful state, but the reward will be worth it. Sometimes we need to leave our home and shine our lights in a new place for awhile. I can clearly see how our divine creator and his angels are helping each of us on our individual journey. I hope you find this video helpful. Stay positive and keep doing the work. Blessings :) Please check out Divine Love Crystal Grid channel and order a channeled letter from your twin. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXD2XLo17ds

Zelda: Oni Link Begins (100%) #25/30: Secret Monster Quest

07:29
The Legend Of Zelda: Oni Link Begins 100% Walkthrough #25/30 Secret Monster Quest We start off this video by leaving the Farore Temple and using the Song Of Soaring to warp to the Desert Oasis, we visit the Great Fairy inside and buy the final Bomb & Arrow Upgrades, they cost 100 Ruppees each, you will need over 1500 Ruppees if you want them all, once you have bought them all the greedy fairy gets angry that you are still in her Oasis, she warps you halfway across Termina, you land on a hill in the West Field, we find the final Piece Of Heart here, while on the hill we attacked are by Arrghus, a boss from previous Zelda games, we defeat it easily, our next destination is the S.A.M.U.S. Building, we use the Song Of Soaring to warp to the Fobidden Forrest, we travel north to reach the East Field, on our way to the S.A.M.U.S. Building we are attacked by Vitreous, another former boss, the battle is no challenge to us, when we meet the Mysterious Man he tells us that Oni-Link has revived three powerful monster to wreck havoc on Termina, if we can defeat all three he will give a special reward, this is a sidequest and is not necessary to complete the game but I would recommend doing it anyway. We have already defeated two out three of the Secret Monster, Arrghus and Vitreous, the third one is Mothula, we warp to Kasuto Village and exit it to enter the Witch's Swamp, after some intensive exploring we finally encounter Mothula, it dies in one hit. Note that all three Secret Monsters can be found in the following locations, East Field, West Field, Witch's Swamp and Termina Desert, the enemies are rare, if they do not appear for you, leave the area and then return, keep repeating this until you encounter them, you can begin this sidequest much earlier in the game, it can completed as soon as you collect all 5 Holy Grails. once all three are defeated the Mystery Man rewards us by unlocking the heavy door in he's basement, it leads to a Secret Dungeon. In the next video we will complete the Secret Dungeon, defeat the Secret Boss and obtain a Secret Weapon, thanks for watching.
