Are Snap-on tools actually better than Harbor Freight tools? TOOL RANT

13:50
In this video I rant a bit about the differences between name brand tools and Harbor Freight tools. I own tools from all sorts of brands, craftsmen, snap-on, bluepoint, MAC, and Matco, so I thought I have a decent grasp on the topic. I try to answer your questions on whether or not snap-on or other brands are better than harbor freight. Thanks for watching! They are free to move with each stroke, allowing the wrench to navigate around obstructions along the swing path. 6-Point Box Ends Providing a sure, snug fit on hex-shaped fasteners, the 6-point box ends resist slipping off while you work, saving aggravation and your knuckles. To prevent round-off, the openings contact and apply force to the flat sides of fastener heads rather than the corners. 5-Degree Swing Arc Ratchet gears with 72 teeth require just 5 degrees of swing arc to reach the next tooth position, so they are fast and efficient when there's not much room to move. The teeth of the ratchet gears are cut, not press formed, creating a crisp, precise profile that fully engages with the pawls and can't skip or slip under high stress. Some name brand, some off brand with varying degrees of success. After trying these AutoGrip pliers, I might be a convert. BEST TOOL BATTERY? WHY BIG LITHIUM COST YOU LESS!

10:19
I BOLTR the 18V Makita 5Ah but first I'll show you why bigger is better. Because: CHEMISTRY! The small batteries have 5 cells connected in series. As such, the cells have higher current discharge ratings and generally lower Ah ratings. As a double whammy, higher discharge rates mean shorter lifetime. The larger packs have 3 parallel banks of 5 cells in series. That means each cell in the bank needs lower current discharge and has larger Ah ratings. More BEEF for Less BUCK. Park Tool Home Mechanic Repair Stand PCS-10 Video Review

13:10
https://electricbikereview.com/accessories/park-tool/home-mechanic-repair-stand/ The Park Tool Home Mechanic Repair Stand PCS-10 is a sturdy, brand name bike work stand with a lifetime warranty, offers up to 80 lbs of load capacity for use with heavier bikes such as electric bikes (take your battery off before loading to reduce weight). Compared with the PCS-9 the PCS-10 featured here has more adjustability in the support arm and jaws, compatible with aero seat posts, it has replaceable rubber cuffs and works with accessories. The stand weighs ~16.5 lbs without the optional accessory tray, the legs fold down and the mounting cuff slides up for a folded length of just 41" making it easy to store in a corner or slide into a car. The fold out legs can get in your way while walking or working on a bike and they take more ground space, the rack is expensive and fairly heavy compared with cheaper off-brand options, I feel that the optional accessory tray could be improved with some larger holes for thick tools and a more closed off side basket (because my smaller tools fall out).

The Cheapest & Most Valuable Tool in My Garage

18:43
With the large assortment of expensive tools that I’ve acquired over the years of working on cars, there are many of them that I absolutely love, yet I know can be hard to obtain due to some of their higher prices, such as this vehicle scanner ▶︎ https://goo.gl/KrEh47 Even though the scanner that I own is a quite valuable tool, it is expensive… I figured I would make a video of a tool of mine that is JUST AS VALUABLE TO ME, however is no where near as expensive. This tool of mine has helped me in COUNTLESS situations where I have dirt or some other type of contaminant that I want to remove. If you have one, of if you have used one, you will know how handy they can be… I’ve used both the more expensive name brands, along with the no-name brands and they both do the same job. The difference between them, price aside, is how durable they are and how much work they can execute. You can purchase the individually wrapped Mr. Clean brand erasers for around $1 each, whereas if you were to buy them in larger quantities, it just gets cheaper and cheaper. If you don’t need the name brand product, you can save yourself a bit of money.. and by a bit, I MEAN ALOT. The 100 pack of the no namers is around same price as a 10 of the name-brand sponges. Regarless, they both will do wonders. Here are some of the things you would have seen in this video 👇 Mr. Clean Magic Erasers ▶︎ https://goo.gl/Jxvbbw No-Name Magic Erasers ▶︎ https://goo.gl/moaWQd Camera Used for this Video ▶︎ https://goo.gl/C1mN2C Camera Used for Alternate Shots ▶︎ https://goo.gl/TN4ZgG If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email at [email protected] Thanks for watching!! :) ⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯ SEND ME STUFF 👇 MILAN MASTRACCI PO BOX 30075 TOWN SQ. What happens with the power tool 3352 PTC after you installed 5000 keenserts? arconic brand

01:08
As the tool has already installed 5000 KEENSERTS maybe the motor has run dry. Please add two or three drops of oil (the oil that comes with the tool) into the tool case. To do this disconnect the air supply and add 3 drops of oil into the grey lower part of the tool. Maybe your air supply is insufficient and air pressure goes down after the first installation. You could check the air pressure with a manometer or wait two minutes before installing the second insert and see if this helps. keenserts is a registred brand name of arconic

How to pick a great company name with a scrabble tool

03:25
http://vondranlegal.com/intellectual-property-litigation/ YES ITS OK TO SHARE MY VIDEOS! One of the hardest things to do from a trademark perspective is to pick a company name that does not infringe another company's trademarks and intellectual property. But how do you do that? With the internet there have been so many different types of companies started that it has become really difficult to find a good name that you can get your own trademark rights in, and which is unique offering you the chance to create your own intellectual property. Here is one out of the box idea for creating company names that you may also be able to acquire the domain name. Keep in mind, this is just one tool, and you would always want to consider hiring a law firm to do a trademark search for you (both the USPTO, domain WHOIS and other state resources) and to report back on possible conflicts. We currently offer this service for $99. Price is subject to change. Having a good trademark and brand attorney on your team can be the difference between creating valuable digital property rights, or facing a trademark infringement lawsuit. This video shows you one way to brainstorm domain names using a scrabble cheat tool. Have fun and post a message on Facebook eating me know if you like it or have any other fresh ideas for picking a good company name in this digital property age.

Choosing an Automotive Scan Tool -EricTheCarGuy

38:56
I've been asked about what scanner to buy for some time. Since ScannerDanner aka Paul Danner, stopped by the shop, I thought I would take the opportunity to have him help me out with this question. It is his namesake after all. The first step in choosing a scanner is to figure out what it is you really NEED in a scanner. Once you've done that, it's a matter of looking at the spec sheet for the tool you're considering and see if it meets those needs. Look for things like ABS capability, even SRS capabilities, manufacturer specific code capabilities, perhaps a 'help' database, and if the tool is 'bidirectional'. Also, for high end scanners, check out their help and training features that may come with your purchase. I know we used a lot of Snap-on scanners in this video, and we talked extensively on their features, however, there are other scan tool manufactures out there that make equally good tools. Paul and I only like to talk about what we know so sorry if this one seemed Snap-on bias. Also, the retail for the Verus is closer to $6K, not $10K as Paul said in the video. So don't beat us up too bad over that little flub. I'll post some links to some alternative tools that you might also want to check out that have similar capabilities. Here's the links. Harbor Freight Multi-Tool

06:48
Harbor Freight Variable Speed Multi-Tool. Purchased for $59.99. Its a pretty heavy unit, comfortable in hand. A soft start variable speed motor was a pleasant surprise. Normally, you'd pay a lot for a soft start motor on my brand name tools. I couldn't afford the Fein, which looks like a great tool. Need to find out if Fein or other manufacturer's attachments will work on this unit. Comes with case, sanding pad, linoleum cutters, wood, plastic and other types of cutters. Purchased the grout cutter for $14.99, but it isn't a good attachment. The diamond comes off pretty quick when working on grout- pretty abrasive stuff.

Harbor Freight Tool Review Chicago Electric Reciprocating Saw

02:01
Tool Review: Chicago Electric 7.5 amp reciprocating saw Around $50 at Harbor Freight Tools I had this one about 3 years. I only used it outside on stumps, roots, tree limbs. It was constantly in dirt, sand, mud, and I never had a problem with it. I'd use it for the type of jobs you would never use a "name brand" for. I'm surprised it lasted this long! The only maintenance I did was throw it on the shelf until the next job. For me, it was worth every penny.
