This is calling the pdf application. Is it not possible to open the pdf file right inside the slide, without the need of a second application? I could do it using a Microsoft Web Browser control, but this control doesn't work right, as I have tested many times. It uses the Internet Explorer engine, and that is a HUGE problem! Sometime it works, sometimes don't; and worse, many times it crashes, and Powerpoint crashes together! Maybe there is another control that can be used to show a pdf file right inside the slide.

Hi, nice to see this. Does anyone now how to only print certain PDF pages. e.g I have 15 pages and like to print only 8 because I know last 7 pages contains not needed info. I think something like PDF pagecount minus 7.

Hi,How can i close PDF file with excel VBA ?
Queruwk (2 years ago)
Hi Sir, Thank you so much  for the info. I have a question though. what about if I want the vba to just find me the filename. Once it finds it, just present to me the window explorer with the filename highlighted. And only up to that point (I don't intent to open it) because my intention is to drag the file and attach it to the email correspondence.

+prabath Maduranga Just give the complete path with the file name. Alternatively, run a looping process in the relevant directory.
