How did you get around? Did you use a real map or did you use your map on the phone? And was internet in other countries included in your package? :)
Maja Johansson (1 year ago)
I used a real map but if I would go today I would definitely download a map on Google maps so you can use it offline :) If you mean if it was included where I stayed then yes, but on my phone no :)

Nice! Can you tell me which font/letter type you used in the beginning? I can't find it and I think the one you used is so pretty and simple!

last year i have been itnerrailling, Berlin-Prague-budapest-split-lake bled-munich Lake bled was the most beautiful places i have been. And there is a bus there from the ttrainstation to lake bled, our hostel was 3 minutes from the busstation Ace of spades i was staying there, really nice hostel, supermarket right next to the hostel, they also have a nice day trip at this hostel you visit a nice river and waterfall and after that we went up a mountain and have a amazing view over the lake and the alps
Maja Johansson (2 years ago)

Hello, What towns would you recommend travelling to in Sweden? Thank you
Maja Johansson (2 years ago)
Hi, It depends on what kind of cities you like: If you like big cities I could recommend Stockholm and Göteborg. I would say Göteborg is more beautiful than Stockholm, but in Stockholm ofcourse all the main attractions are. If you want more culture with old buildings you have Uppsala. If you want a beautiful city that is more calm I could recommend Kalmar, it has been chosen the summer city of the year in Sweden the last two years. In Kalmar you also have and island called Öland you can very easily go to, it just takes a few minutes with bus or car. People from all over Sweden go there during the summer because they have very nice beaches there. And if you like nature and mountains you can go to Kiruna or around there. Hope it can help! :)

How did you do it with chargers and ect? On the count of that every country seem to have their own kind of outlets. Love from Norway!

+Simtey Hi! I brought a travel adapter that works pretty much anywhere :)
Romano Khokon (2 years ago)
how often did u reserve the train (seat) in advance??
Romano Khokon (2 years ago)
thnks a lot :)
Maja Johansson (2 years ago)
+Romano Khokon Maybe this then: http://www.interrail.eu/trains-europe/trains-country then chose a country and look through the texts
Romano Khokon (2 years ago)
thanks, i checked that...  but in app or Time table... only the short cuts (IC, EC ,TGV, EXP, RJ) have been used,... so, it;s little bit tough to identify which one is national train and which one isn't
Maja Johansson (2 years ago)
+Romano Khokon I found this website which tells all the trains that are included in every country: http://www.interrail.eu/trains-europe/railway-companies It also says that in the extended search option in the app, you can chose to only display trains without reservation :)
Romano Khokon (2 years ago)
can u plz help me with another info?? i use "RAIL APP PLANNER'' app in iOS...  all the trains are shown there are included in interrail package??   like EXP, TGV, EC, RJ etc etc

Manuel Almeida (2 years ago)
Hey! Thanks so much for both of your videos: I'll be inter railing next summer and your tips have been extremely useful. However there are a few things I was hoping you could tell me a little bit more about if that is ok: How many days did your trip last and how much did it cost in the overall? What exactly in Ljubljana did you not like? (We were planning on going there but as you said it's probably not worth it..). Also, I got curious about Bled because of what you said, so I did a little research and yeah, we're definitely going there! And this leads me to my final question: do you have any idea of how much did the horse walk cost? It must be a beautiful experience! Once more, thank you very much for the tips! ;)
Manuel Almeida (2 years ago)
+Maja Johansson thank you very much for all your help!! cheers!
Maja Johansson (2 years ago)
+Manuel Almeida Hi there! I'm glad I could help :)) My trip lasted around 3 weeks. The price really depends on where and how you live, what you will do there and so on but the trip I did you can definitely get for under 1000 euros. We stayed in the city center I don't know if that helps ^^ That I didn't really like it there is just my opinion, I've heard people who liked it there also! I think if you are going to Bled you change train in Ljubljana, I may be wrong though but then you have a little chance to check it out if you still want to :) The horse ride costed 40 euros so quite a lot but it was definitely worth it! Enjoy your trip! :)

Cool video, might check out bled as we are going to ljubljana and its not that far away. If you are staying in Berlin again i highly recommend heart of gold hostel which has an amazing atmosphere and the is very central. Thanks for the video
Shaun McLarnon (3 years ago)
Never would have went to bled if it wasn't for watching this video. One of my favorite stops of the trip. Thanks for the recommendation :)
Maja Johansson (3 years ago)
+Shaun McLarnon Yes you should definitly do that! Thanks for the recommendation! :)

Lewis Jones (3 years ago)
Hi I am wondering what route did you take to get from Bled to Venice? I'm doing this in the summer but I'm not sure how to get between them.
Lewis Jones (3 years ago)
That's very helpful, thanks :)
Maja Johansson (3 years ago)
Hey! We took the train to Jesenice, and then to Villach HBF, Udine and finally Venice :) There are other faster routes but we wanted to avoid to pay for reservations on the trains. I recommend you to download the Rail Planner app, it's very useful! :)
shneeblee1 (3 years ago)
HI! really useful video, thanks :) what hostel did you say you stayed in in prague? Am going there this summer looking for a good hostel to stay in xx
shneeblee1 (3 years ago)
Awesome! Thank you!! :)xx
Maja Johansson (3 years ago)
Hi, thank you so much! I stayed at the Extol Inn in Prague. It's just like a hotel, so if you want a more "hostel atmosphere" you should maybe look for something else. Also, a minus is the location because you have to take the tram to get to the city center. But I could really recommend it! :)

There are a lot of beautiful places to visit in Spain. I'm from Bilbao, a city in the Basque Country in the north of Spain. You can see the Guggenheim Museum there, a futuristic museum which is appearing in the new film called Jupiter Ascending. There is also a suspension bridge in Portugalete, a town next to Bilbao What I recommend you to visit is Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Bilbao and if you have the opportunity, some parts of Galicia too. Thank you for answering my questions xx

Thank you so much for your tips! :)

Hi, what was the sencond city? Sorry, I didn't understand it :( I've been to London, Brighton, Oxford, Windsor, Hastings, Eastbourne and Ashford in England which were all so beautiful and nice, especially London where I have been twice and has amazed me both times. I have also been to Paris but I didn't have much time to see it because I spent 3 days in DisneyLand. However, I visited the Eiffel Tower which was incredible! I've also been to Lisbon this summer. I only spent 3 days there but I got to travel by the traditional tram there and to visit the Belem tower too. It was better than I've expected. Btw, I'm from Spain which is also really beautiful and has a lot of different cultures to see around it xx
Maja Johansson (3 years ago)
Hi! The cities are Berlin, Prag, Budapest, Ljubijana, Bled and Venice :) Ohh I'm really interested in going to London, now even more! And also Paris, seems like such a beautiful place. How nice that you're from Spain, then I can ask you which city you think I should go to if I would go there? :) As for the other part, I don't really know if there would be any problem to go at the age of 17 since I was older than that, but I know people who started their interrailing at 17 without any trouble. There are so many groups of only girls (we we're only girls) who are interrailing so I'm pretty sure you will meet other groups of girls and then maybe you can visit the country together - the more the better! :)
Noelia Iglesias (3 years ago)
I was also thinking of going interrailing next year with my friends. I have some questions, do you think there will be any problem if two of my friends are 17 when the trip starts? Is it secure if we are only girls? Our parents doubt about it... Thank you

I hope you find the video to be useful! :)
