How to workout properly for beginners? Why do we go to the gym regularly and don’t get the desired results? We often make many mistakes in the gym during our workouts that stand in the way of being healthy. Did you know that doing exercises in a wrong way is even worse than doing nothing at all? These products have enough fats, but they are healthy and non-destructive. - Not sleeping enough means lower physical performance and slower recovery. And when you feel tired, there is no point in going to the gym. - Many people think drinking water when exercising is wrong, but you are not one of them, right? Don’t torture yourself by not drinking any water. During a workout, your body actively loses a lot of fluids. - If you want to keep your weight in check or even decrease it, you have to eat right and stay away from empty calories. - If you don’t want to lose consciousness in the gym, eat 2 hours before exercising. 2 hours is enough for the body to digest the food to the point when you are already not feeling sleepy and not hungry yet. - A hot bath or a sauna can be very dangerous for your heart and blood vessels. So if you want to wash off the sweat, take a warm shower instead. - You can comfort yourself with this thought: muscles weigh more than fat. So, maybe the fat you wanted to burn turned into muscles? - Trainers are usually great motivators. Besides, their job is to develop a training program that fits your needs and your physical capacity. A professional trainer can make sure you do all exercises correctly and don’t harm yourself accidentally. - Don’t forget to take a few minutes to stretch after a workout. It will reduce the pain in the muscles and make your recovery much faster. - If you work out every day, you will feel exhausted, and your muscles won’t have enough time to recover. Cardio on an empty stomach...good. Hiring a personal trainer....waste. Everything else was pretty solid advise. I’ve lost over 150 pounds, so I kinda know how to lose weight.

You don't need to take breaks after every workout, at least make sure to get 1 in the week.

Yeah taking a warm shower is not the right thing to do after a workout. A cold shower is recommended so the next day your muscles feel refreshed and not as sore.

Working out on an empty stomach? I jogged for 30 minutes with nothing on my stomach but a little bit of water, no bad results.. just I feel my legs a little sluggish. Day 1: I woke up at 5:00 AM, I got up at 5:05 AM to gargle my mouth before drinking 1 cup of water with small sips. Then I brush my teeth before doing anything. I then begin stretching out for jogging.. after that, I jogged and walked for 30 minutes.. took a 10 minute break (I went to the comfort room) and 20 minutes to continue my jogging and walking then I went home. I rested for 15 minutes before taking a shower. I feel a little sluggish with my leg movements when I was bathing. A few minutes, I am feeling a little better. Then at 9:30 I ate my breakfast.

A common mistake people make at the gym is they lift too heavy as a beginner. Just because you used to bench 200 lbs 5 years ago doesn’t mean you can jump back to that right away. I’ve seen it happen and it’s not good, you can really damage your muscles.

2:40 Working out does not dehydrate you. Your body does not lose fluids when working out. 3:34 It's impossible for your body to digest the food you've eaten in 2 hours. It takes up to 30 hours for your body to digest food. This is all bro-science.

Just do athletics, because they push u to get better and even if ur trash at every sport just try out and if u make it GREAT FOR U! but if u didn't just sit in offseason. If ur in offseason doesn't mean they won't make u warm up, do ab workouts, run a mile in 9 minutes, laps around the gym, and etc. Maybe ur sport isn't in the season they r on right now. I started doing athletics, and I see myself improving.

Staying consistent! Stay positive and don't give up if you really want to get in shape. A little goes a long way. I don't agree with the personal trainer tip. I'm looking up workout tips so I won't need one. And not working out while tired? If I wait until I'm not tired, I'll never workout. Lol!

I think everyday workouts doesn't necessarily have to be counterproductive especially if you are looking to lose weight initially, as long you are not overworking yourself. I used to lift 4 days a week and do mild cardio the other 3, that way it's not an overkill. Worked out well for me :)

see this is why im not too fond of my brothers personal trainer. He doesn't encourage my brother to hydrate and drink water during his workouts. Maybe if he was trying to build more muscles I would get that (i don't know why but i hear that most people doing the intensive muscle building aren't encouraged to drink water. and that just doesn't sound healthy to me). My brother already looks like freaking Hulk Holgan (except for that gut he can't seem to get rid of), there shouldn't be any reason for him to avoid water at this point. Thankfully he ignores his trainer when it comes to drinking water.
