So every time I try to do exercises (like these) that require "shoulders off the ground" I end up straining my neck. Is my form just bad/does anyone have suggestions of how I can avoid that? (thanks in advance)

This is a REALLY great video. Could you share a video of modifications for folk who are coming from a less 6-packed/fit existence? I’m over 250lbs and some of these exercises are a bit too ambitious for the moment.

Aim B'Yisrael then don't bring your legs all the way down. once you feel your lower spine coming up stopped at that point and whatever exercise it is you're doing just keep doing that until you're strong enough to lower your legs lower. If you're consistent with it you should be able to do it within a few weeks, fully. I don't have ABS the way they do but with most of them I can keep my spine down it's the ones where I use both legs is where I come into a bit of trouble. Just keep working at it. but don't do them if you can't keep your spine to the floor. you'll be damaging your spine and have problems later on in life or even sooner.

You can’t really go all the way up tbh lol. You stomach at a certain point. Plus you gotta be flexible plus having tights hips and quads don’t help either it’s hard

Thes are all good for strengthening core muscles however, there is no such thing as muscles called “lower abs.” We have 4 core abdominal muscles: transverse abdominis, rectus abdominis, and internal and external obliques. If you want to flatten and firm your abs, try Pilates. You don’t need a Reformer either. The mat exercises are just as effective and target the deep core muscle mentioned....transverse abdominis. Look it up. It wraps around the waist like a girdle and when strengthened, abs are tight like wearing one!

Update: I did this workout & made it 1 round on Tabata. 50 sec work, 10 sec rest. I thought I could go round 2 when I fizzled out. My lower abs were sore for 3 days post workout. The next morning I woke up and my lower abs were flatter than they have ever been. Definitely going to make these exercises part of my weekly work out.👍👍👍

Thanks for doing this! Question for ya. I cannot do the roll up without my feet coming completely off the ground (to an almost 90 degree angle acting as a counterweight) assisting me to the roll up position. Is that ok for me to do till my abs get stronger? If not, what do you suggest? What are my options?
