Dr. Berg discusses about the body shape, the different female body types and other male body types and tips on the ideal body types. The first body type is the adrenal body type (sagging belly). These people need to reduce stress and sleep and have a little more protein with each meal. The next body type is the thyroid body type (the weight is spread all over). A primary thyroid problem could come from heavy estrogen or heavy periods or a lack of digestive ball bladder or a stress issue. The next body type is the liver body type (mainly men). The last body type is the ovary body type (estrogen dominant cases).
Dr. Berg talks about the body types and differentiates the differences between the adrenal body type, the ovary body type, the thyroid body type and the liver body type.

I feel I am a mix of adrenal and thyroid.. I gain weight everywhere, but have a sagging belly, but have very muscular legs and booty... I started keto this week for a second time, as it work the first time.. which keto route should I take as a body type?! I don’t take thyroid meds, and have been frequently tested , but it is hard for the weight to come off.. so I sway with thyroid..
Dr. Berg, I took your body type quiz and the results say that I am a pancreatic body type. I saw that your offered a kit which included electrolyte powder, nutritional yeast tablets and wheatgrass powder. I was considering ordering it until I learned that the electrolyte powder contains magnesium citrate. I have interstitial cystitis and cannot take magnesium citrate as it is extremely painful to my bladder. Are there other options I could consider? Thank you.
Adrenal. Which makes sense considering I have an anxiety disorder and have had a huge amount of stress over the years. Things aren't as stressful now, but I can't exactly stop the anxiety disorder. My heart beats >90 bpm at rest. I've been doing keto for a month now and and have noticeable fat loss to the face, legs and rib areas. Some inches lost on the belly, but it's still bigger than I would expect. Will it go down completely with this diet or do I need to meditate or something on top? I haven't had a flat belly my entire life and I would really like to achieve it.
Please everyone listen to what Dr. Berg says about thyroid adrenal being secondary to autoimmune response and go right to your Doctor to get an Epstein Barr Virus Test. Google it and read up on it. Dr. I started Keto last week. I don't have a thyroid or gallbladder anymore. Will keto still work for me? And Do I have clean my liver in order to get better results? I bought Bragg's apple cider vinegar. I heard it helps with all of our organs.
Im slowly..very slowly losing weight now..[I think a snail could out run me] but I feel a lot better. Im doing the 16 hour a day fast...I eat 2 times a day and a snack within an 8 hour window. I keep it 85% healthy..but theres times like today...I had a nutty buddy ice cream..it was good..lol...I need to get back to..if the doctor will let me..drinking 10 bottles [16oz] of water a day..he wants me between 6-8..but when I was doing 10..the weight started to drop on my 3rd week..by week 12 I lost 47 pounds..the suckie part is..Im still the same size in cloths..I just dont have to lay on the bed, use pliers to grab my zipper, suck in and pray I can breath. And the only part of keto I do is keeping it healthy..[most times]..but for myself, and others Ive spoken to who cant do keto because they got the same problem from it I did..we all agree..intermittent fasting is working better. The weight wont come off as fast..but it also doesn't shock your body as much. Keep an eye on your bp for at least 3 months..check It 2 times a day..if you notice it starts going up..stop..if its staying normal..you should be ok...today after 20 hours of fasting [I had a busy day] I ate a sandwich on multi grain bread, a handful of chips, I only eat those like maybe once a month....for supper a simple salad and about 8 ritz crackers..and my ice cream inbetween...I wont eat again till noon, and have my last bite of food before 8pm

I noticed I been on for 9 days and lost 1 lb. 😒 When I ate more fruits, nuts, veggies and lean meat (mainly fish and organic chicken) every 3-4 hrs I lost 12.5 lbs in 10 days. No sugar and no processed over salty foods. I'm going back to it. How are u feeling now? Are u still on Keto?
Maybe I am missing it but what body type are we if the test says Insulin or Pancreas? Also this is way more carbs than the typical Keto diet allows are those that are consuming this higher amount still dropping pounds ok?
I thought I had the adrenal body type and I have all the symptoms of adrenal fatigue, but I am really the liver body type and I don't have a gallbladder anymore, I had gall stones. What do I do for that? Can my liver function properly without a gallbladder?

I am wondering I was diagnosed hypothyroid and take synthroid and I still feel exhausted all the time. I asked them about adrenals so many times and they say it has nothing to do with my adrenals. Will diet alone solve my adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism?
Dr. Berg, Is it possible to to have 2 body types? I feel like both the adrenal & thyroid fit me. I have symptoms of both. Fat all over & a sagging belly. I have poor sleeping habits, stressed out, my unbalanced hormones got my menstral bleeding going for months at a time & a lot of hairloss. I had started a strict low carb diet lost 35lbs but the sagging belly was still there. Disappointed, stressed out & depressed about how bad my hair loss has gotten I cheated on my diet & kept on cheating til I gained the weight back. *sighs* :(
I'm an adrenal type (high stress) and am both European and Middle Eastern decent. While my bone structure is smaller, my bones are very strong. So I'm perplexed and am not sure if I should have more of or lay off of the dairy. Any suggestions? Lean protein is always a must as well as alternative forms of protein to keep things balanced. I found it helps me maintain a healthy energy level and I'm drinking less coffee as a result of this.
Is he telling me to go into a ketosis diet? To be healthy or just to loose weight? Cuz if u are not diabetic, we should add fruits in our date! Cuz fruits have antioxidants, fiber, vitamines... etc for a healthy living.

This is such an awakinging. I am READY to finally heal. Tremendous stress in my life. I do sleep well, and have an abundance of energy, but I do have high blood pressure and have developed tremendous weight in my belly region. I love vegetables, but a bit confused as about cruciferae vegetable limitation. I do not drink alcohol, eat sugar, or flour. I am actually IRATE that this information is NOT being taught. Even though I'm not "fat", I am definitely body type 2. I do not have a gall bladder, but I do have trouble with my liver due to Lyme & Co. I'm pretty sure that's actually the reason for the cholecystectomy. I've had my thyroid checked many times and on paper I'm practically borderline hypo, but my symptoms are hyper. I think I have an estrogen problem, too, because I have a progestin IUD.
When I gain, I first gain in my stomach, hips, and thighs. However, after a big cancer scare I developed fat all over. I’ve lost 35 lbs but my stomach fat is very stubborn. I’m confused as to what I should do.
I am really confused about my body type. I look like the lady with the beer belly, but have been diagnosed with PCOS and placed on Metformin inositol. I am curious about this because I am going to have an adrenalectomy and I also have an under active thyroid if this is going to possibly clear up my thyroid issue which I have not had for more than a couple of years randomly. Dr. Berg - my hubby and I love your videos. We started your adrenals program last week. I am down 6 pounds, and my husband about 4. He and I have both had tremendous stress... Loss of family members, jobs (both of us), etc. But even though my body shape is not estrogen type, I have some estrogen symptoms. (I have been on synthroid since 25 yrs old, (now 50)). Can someone please guide me! I feel I have adrenal type and liver type body. I have a pot belly and rest of my body is not fat. I also have most signs of weak adrenals due to prolonged exercise and stress with poor diet. Adrenal related symptoms are dizziness while standing up from a seated positing, weakness, poor concentration and a lot more that dr Eric mentioned in his book. How can it be both liver and weak adrenal type body in my case? These two have different guidelines in his book. Some are opposites. For instance adrenal healing requires higher protein but liver type requires lower level of protein. Can’t figure this out!
Years ago I had blood test to check my hormone levels because I was so tired all the time. I didn't want to take depression medication. The doctor found I was a little low on testosterone. There's a pharmacy that does the compound mixing but he would not prescribe for me. He gave me no reason. I still think it could have helped and couldn't have hurt to try it. I'm cancer-free after 19 years. I was given 3 months to live at that time. They were worried about eating soy which is changed since then. I don't eat meat but I do eat fish at times. Back to the compound that the pharmacies mix up 4 each individual's needs. What's your opinion on that?
I'm definitely the adrenal body type! I have had a sagging belly since I had my baby 9 years ago! I also have PTSD from an abusive relationship. So, yes, lots of stress. Lots of long-term, sustained fight-or-flight response to everything in life.
When you pulled up adrenal, I thought it was something totally different. But yeah, that's me. I can't sleep. Even in a relaxed state I can't let go of tension. I have PTSD. I can't lose weight even on diets. I've had high stress most of my life and now have an opportunity to work on my stress but don't even know how.
